Pixi Quick Fix Powder Review

Pixi Quick Fix Powder

I am currently in love with the new Pixi Quick Fix Powder! I tend to go overboard with transparent powder and I end up looking all sorts of pasty and goofy so when I saw the new Pixi Quick Fix Powder packaging I was all, “Hmm this could prove great for me since I’m so heavy handed”.

And I was right!

Pixi Quick Fix Powder is a lightweight, invisible silica powder with a matte finish that contains aloe vera and cucumber extract. It’s actually nothing new or incredible as every single brand has transparent powder setting powder like this. But is is new for Pixi as they do not have one!

What does set the Pixi Quick Fix Powder apart is the packaging as it does come with a sponge puff on top so you can easily blend it into skin. As I mentioned above I’m such an utter klutz with transparent powder. Keyword, transparent! But on me it’s anything but! I tend to over do it at times and it comes across very pasty or chalky looking plus my drier skin does not like me over doing it so sometimes it’ll cling to drier, patchy areas. This puff on top allows the lightest application of powder to flow through for lighter and easy application on skin so I can get the perfect airbrushed finish that sets my makeup but doesn’t look pasty or drying on my skin. The puffy sponge makes it mess-free to buff into my skin and never feel like I’m over doing things! And after you’re done? You can totally recycle the packaging and fill it with powder, foundation, or even blush!

Set makeup? Check! Airbrushed finish? Check! Minimizing oil and shine? Check! Easy to use, mess-free packaging? Double check! Thanks Pixi Quick Fix Powder! Into the makeup essentials pile you go!

The Pixi Quick Fix Powder launched with the Pixi Fall 2014 Collection and is available now at Target, Target.com, or at www.pixibeauty.com.

Hey Muse, so the top unscrews? I’m asking because I want to know if that sponge can be washed. If it can, I love this!

Nifty Sifty!! 😀 Do you have to turn it upside down and shake it to get the powder thru the sponge thingy? Or just turn it upside down and dab it on? It’s pretty cool, however it works!

upside down, dab it on, and it flowers perfectly 🙂 if you dab it on the back of your hand a few times that gets it flowing as well!

Wow. I will have to pick some of this up. Been eyeing it for awhile, but so far all ‘transparent’ or ‘invisible’ powders look white or chalky or pasty on me. Would be just awesome if there were a powder that is truly colorless and invisible, and it sounds like this one fits the bill. Thanks for reviewing Muse 🙂
