Wet n Wild Color Blast Color Mascara for Halloween 2014

Wet n Wild Color Blast Color Mascara

Wet n Wild Color Blast Color Mascara is a new colored mascara launching with the Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Halloween 2014 Collection in four shades.

Colored mascara is kinda iffy to come by at the drugstore but lately I’m seeing more and more brands launching their own variation. The Wet n Wild Color Blast Color Mascara will likely get a big push for Halloween but although limited edition will like make a reappearance come Spring 2015.

Take a look!

Wet n Wild Color Blast Color Mascara is available in the following shades:

  • Green with Envy
  • Siren’s Song
  • Lady Luck
  • Up at Dusk

The blue, green, and purple are pretty standard colors but I think that the pink shade entitled Lady Luck is quite unique! The formula is marketed to add high impact color to lashes. I’m not really one for using colored mascara to be honest but these sound intriguing!

They were marked at $2.79 at Harmons!

Anyone try them?

These look like the colors from last year…which would be GREAT if they were! I love colored mascara and the ones from last year worked great for me! I was so sad that I didn’t get backups so… *fingers crossed* 😀

I got blue, purple, and pink, and for me the pink is a bit bright and interesting, the blue is subtle enough I would use it a lot but still definitely blue, and the purple doesn’t read as purple, it’s like wearing brown mascara for me, maybe on lighter lashes or near lighter eyes it would show up as purple.

As for the formula, it does nothing to lengthen my short lashes and only gives a little volume, but doesn’t flake or smear and has a soft feel. I didn’t have as much luck applying it over other mascaras, for me it works best alone, with several coats.

I tried them!! They were AMAZING!!! I used them out of Halloween too. It made matching my lashes to my outfit colorful! The Blue really stood out, the Green blended unless you stood in the sun then it stood out! The pink wasn’t too bad, but I didn’t use the pink much. And the purple had more of a brownish lavender look to it. Unless you’d put a bunch on for it to stand out. Since then I have been looking for more and different colors like that. Does anyone kno where I can find more?
