Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes

Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes is the brand’s latest perfume fragrance that launches just in time for the Holiday 2014 season! I’m excited about the A Thousand Wishes fragrance but….I have my reservations.

So let’s talk about the good for a second here….Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Perfume has notes of Sparkling Champagne, Twinkling Star Fruit, Golden Quince, Crystal Peonies, Purple Freesia
Gilded Amber, Almond Crème, Sugared Sandalwood, and Velvet Musk!

They had me with those top notes of champagne and star fruit!

The fragrance will be available in a eau de parfum which has a high perfume oil concentration giving the fragrance excellent throw and linger. Bath & Body Works is also launching it in a complete body line with lotion, bubble bath, shower gel, etc…available in the scent as well as a Fine Fragrance Body Mist and a home fragrance oil!

Not I did express reservations above.

My problem with the Bath & Body Works Fragrance launches isn’t with the formula. They are great. Truly affordable fragrance that have beautiful notes and an excellent long wearing formula. They do a very good job with their perfumes from the packaging to the formula.

The problem?

They ALL SMELL the SAME! I think every single release ends up smelling like Forever Red to me…….all the perfumes just end up smelling the same to me. It’s very strange but unfortunately that’s how I feel.

I have high hopes that a Thousand Wishes brings us something new and exciting to the table but I have a funny little feeling I’m going to be disappointed.

The Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Perfume is available now in store or online (20% off today using SUPRIRSE4U Promo Code) at www.bathandbodyworks.com.

I tried a sample size of the EDP and it was OK. Like you said, just like all the others.

I don’t know, they all smell very different to me. I usually don’t wear perfume though (i’m allergic to most) but these are my personal favorite!

Little Miss Cranky Pants loves it. Me.. it’s okay. Worth spending the 5.00 on the mini EDP.

I think the last launch smells the most like Forever Red Bourbon Vanilla, which I love, so the body produdts work well with it.

My husband describes their perfumes as all just smelling like ‘generic perfume smell’ and I think you hit the nail on the head with one of your posts where you mention(I think with Forever Red) that it smells like the inside of one of their stores!!

exactly….I wish they’d do something different, it just seems, to my nose, that everything smells exactly the same or some sort of variation of the same fragrance 🙁
