ELF Disney Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Lip Gloss Set11

The E.L.F. Disney Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Lip Gloss Set ($9.99) is a new limited edition lipgloss set featuring Maleficent and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. The Disney Good vs Evil Collection is the third collaboration from E.L.F. which started out earlier this Fall with the launch of a Snow White and Little Mermaid Makeup Collection!

Let’s take a look!

ELF Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Lip Gloss Set

E.L.F. Disney Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Lip Gloss Set includes four shades of E.L.F. Essential Shimmer Lip Gloss with limited edition packaging that features roses and thorns on the cap of each gloss. The actual art work lays in the outer box packaging the glosses come in that showcases fantastic Disney art work from Sleeping Beauty with characters Aurora and Maleficent in profile.

The glosses aren’t the best formula I’ve ever tried in my life but they aren’t half bad either. They have a sweet fragrance and taste I found pleasant with a drier texture that wasn’t super glossy but wasn’t too bad during the wear. The texture is a little thin and feels a little balmy when applied giving it a less loose, glossier feel and almost has a certain “dryness” to it but it isn’t terrible on my lips and applies even and smooth. I’d have liked more glossiness but for what it lacks in shine it makes up for in pigment as two of the shades had very nice pigmentation where as the other two were more subtle. They wear for around two hours at best sometimes one if you’re eating or drinking with them in place. Through that wear they remain don’t have migration issues and stay in place without being sticky or drying.

I only swatched two of the shade on my lips since Twinkle Twinkle really doesn’t show up well in pictures and Bashful is a little too light for my pigmented lips so it looks a little reddish in photos due to my own natural lip color. Midnight Kiss and Kiss & Tell were two of the best shades as they provided opaque color on two applications.

The E.L.F. Disney Good vs Evil Let the Drama Begin Lip Gloss Set will make a cute Halloween gift or stocking stuffer for Christmas for a younger girl and collector’s are sure to love the packaging. The gloss formula is ok, not amazing but not bad either so it might be worth a pick up for Sleeping Beauty fans or for those that just love uniquely packaged makeup items!

Midnight Kiss reminds me of the Crystal Cranberry shade e.l.f. put out a few years ago in their holiday collection. It’s pretty!
