Guerlain Coque d’Or Perfumed Shimmer Powder

Guerlain Coque dOr Perfumed Shimmer Powder ($95) is a limited edition loose shimmer powder that will be available with the Guerlain A Night at the Opera Collection for Holiday 2014. I’m actually a collector of Guerlain’s Holiday Shimmer Powders so I’m quite happy to add the Coque dOr Perfumed Shimmer Powder to my ever growing collection from years past.

This elegant piece comes housed in a golden bow like bottle featuring a bright red depressor that allows you to “mist” the shimmer powder onto your hair, face, and body.

Let’s take a look!

Guerlain Coque d’Or Shimmer Powder

Guerlain Coque dOr Perfumed Shimmer Powder is the height of beautiful, luxurious, and collectible beauty. The finely milled powder gives a gorgeous golden shimmer that sparkles beautifully on a certain light. You can mist it onto your arms, decollete, hair, body, even your face should you like. It’s a scented powder and carries with it the fragrance of Guerlain’s Coque dOr Perfume with notes of bergamot, rose, jasmine, and patchouli. I find the fragrance an easy to wear light floral fragrance with a hint of dark sultriness.

The light as air powder is the perfect center piece to complete your Holiday makeup look! Needless to say it is fairly costly and a high end purchase but for collector’s of Guerlain’s traditional Holiday shimmer powder releases I’m positive it’ll be a win!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
