Hope Girl Lipstick

Hope Girl Sand Beige Milky Balm Lipstick is a recent shade I got in my Memebox Superbox #58 Lipstick Box although I’m not new to the Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick formula as I did originally get one in my Hope Girl Memebox which I loved and another in the Memebox X Beauty Splurge with Lisa M. Pullano Box!

Now I have three of these and thankfully all in different shades 🙂 Sand Beige is a nice addition to my nude lipstick collection but you have to be careful with this one as it is a lighter tan so a case of zombie lip is easy enough to set in!

Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick Sand Beige

Hope Girl Sand Beige Milky Balm Lipstick is a very light warm tan shade. Unfortunately, I can’t wear it on its own as it looks a bit too zombie-ish on my lips but a little clear gloss on top makes it very, very wearable.

The Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick isn’t at all “milky”…milky typically translates as cream in Asian Lipsticks but this is more of a sheerer lip balm slash lipstick formula. It has a light, citrus and very subtle flavor and fragrance with a smooth, balmy texture that feels very hydrating! The buttery texture wears well for me at four hours alone but tends to fade quicker with gloss so you’re looking at around three hours. It is marketed for 10 hours of wear but I’ve never reached that mark in my testing. During the wear color doesn’t migrate and it feels quite soft and balmy on with a comfortable moist feel. It’s not the expected cream finish one would expect from a “milky” lipstick!

Sand Beige (BG602) is a lot like the recently reviewed Cheek Room Lipstick. It’s a shade that doesn’t quite look right without a hint of gloss on top. Although this lipstick around has a light sheen finish I still felt it needed more gloss to look good on my skin tone. The clear gloss definitely makes it easier for me to wear without looking like evil dead girl!

Although the Memebox Lipstick Box is sold out they do in fact sell this on their website at us.memebox.com or you can take advantage of other boxes they currently have on offer!

Whenever i see you wear these “zombie lip” shades i always think that you could totally pull them off if you adjusted your eye makeup. It can be tricky to look good in these colors with a minimal makeup look, but with a strong smokey eye you would probably look fabulous in them!

I agree, it doesn’t look zombie-ish on you at all. I actually like how this looks on you! It’s a very wearable nude
