Laura Geller Sugar Plum Lipgloss Collection

Might I recommend the Laura Geller Sugar Plum Lipgloss Collection that was released with this year’s Laura Geller Holiday 2014 Gift Sets? This cutesy set includes four yummy Laura Geller Color Drenched Lip Color shades that are super pigmented with a glossy finish.

The Laura Geller Sugar Plum Lipgloss Collection includes four permanent shades of Color Drenched Lipgloss in 0.18 oz sizes. This is a nice way to discover the Color Drenched formula or to add a few more colors to your stash if you already like the formula!

Shades include:

  • Brandy
  • Raspberry Roast
  • French Press Rose
  • Cafe Au Lait

I’m not a cream lipstick lover but Laura manages to combine two formulas into one great gloss formula that’s more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss. This hybrid formula has the shiny, glossy finish of a lipgloss and the pigmentation of a lipstick so you get the best of both worlds here! I originally tried this formula in the Laura Geller Fresh Brewed Beauty Set when it debuted on QVC.

The formula is a faint coffee, toffee flavor and fragrance that’s quit pleasant to my mouth. Although they dub it a gloss I find the formula is so much more as it does have incredible opaque color coverage once applied with a thick yet creamier consistency that’s quite moist on lips with a wear of around four hours. I love the texture as it wears comfortably and provides a shiny, glossy finish with plenty of color that doesn’t migrate or feather around my lip line. The high shine finish is most definitely that of a gloss but the pigmentation is quite thrilling and absolutely not sheer in the least. I find the formula most reminds me of Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lip Color but feels a little more hydrating to my lips!

The set is a great value at $20 bucks as you get four generously sizes glosses that pack pigment!

Grab it up for yourself or tuck it in a stocking!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
