MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glass

MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glass were released in five, limited edition shades with the MAC Heirloom Mix Holiday 2014 Makeup Collection. So far, I really am loving what I see from the Heirloom Mix Collection so don’t pass it by! Be sure to explore the collection because I’m finding some gems including these Cremesheen Glasses I tried!

I tried two of the five shades of MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glass released both of which I adored! I find the MAC Cremesheen Glass formula has a shorter wear and less stickiness than MAC’s regular Lipglass formula. The thinner consistency is comfortable to wear and feels quite nice on lips. Although keep in mind the actual packaging is bigger but the contents of Cremesheen are smaller than Lipglasses weighting at 0.09 oz versus 0.17 oz! These have a nice glossiness and provide nice color to lips!

MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glass Swatches (Seeking Adoration and Courting Chic)

MAC Courting Chic Cremesheen Glass is my favorite shade of the two I tried only by just a little bit as the other shade I tried, Seeking Adoration, is just as gorgeous. This is a truly great Holiday shade! It’s a stunning dark berry red with gold sparkles! I mean red and gold together?! That reeks Holiday! It isn’t opaque on the first application but it applies so with two layers so just build a little for the best color pay off. The formula applies smoothly and evenly as well without falling into my natural lip lines and wears a nice three hour period on me before fading but doesn’t leave behind sparkle after it wears down. It’s the perfect Holiday red and looks amazing over lipstick or all its own!

MAC Seeking Adoration Cremesheen Glass is another fabulous shade. This is very MLBB (my lips but better) on me. It’s a cooler dark plummy pink which I likely would have passed up as in the tube it doesn’t look appealing but it transforms once on lips. It’s a great, wearable shade of pink and not necessarily a “holiday” shade per say but still gorgeous none the less!

I’ve had moments where I’ve fallen off the MAC train but the Holiday 2014 Collection really reminds me why I love MAC so much! Some of the shades in this collection are truly keepers plus the formulas are excellent and on par with MAC’s permanent collection! Too many times I feel like limited releases are sometimes no on par with the MAC I know and love but not the case with the Heirloom Mix Collection!

A Muse Approval for the MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glass!

Like the red one but looks berry pink on you and more red on the swath.

I received Courting Chic from Mac & love it. I never really wear reds as they don’t flatter me. I tend to stick to red browns or paler glosses. However, this one is super wow & great for the Holidays & when you want to feel special. P.S. I love it on you too. Thanks for the review!
