Peripera Disney Frozen Snow Pride Up Powder Review & Swatches
Peripera Disney Frozen Snow Pride Up Powder is a limited edition setting powder that’s available in two shades which released in Korea a few months ago. Peripera did an entire Disney Frozen Makeup Collection and this powder is part of that limited edition release.
Let’s take a look!
I purchased the Peripera Disney Frozen Snow Pride Up Powder in Vanilla Beige which is the darker of the two shades. This is a setting powder with an SPF 25 that can also double up as lightweight coverage. It’s a drier, mattifying powder with a fairly dense formula so if you have drier skin like me it won’t do you many favors. I’ve actually shelved it for two reasons one of which is it is fairly dry and not as comfortable wearing as other Korean setting powders on own but also because the shade applies very pasty on my skin and looks chalky. It seems to adhere to my drier areas and makes itself very, very known. I might be able to get away with it to mattify shine and oil in the Summer as my skin does get a bit oiler in the warmer weather but I’d still have an issue with the shade unfortunately. Although sheer it’s still quite pasty! For those that fit in with the color selections, you’re in luck! I do believe this is a nice one for oily, fairer skin as it can brighten nicely, even skin tone, and acts to mattify shine while setting makeup or providing lighter coverage should you desire. It’s just not meant for us with drier, darker skin!
On the upside, the packaging, as you can see is darling! I haven’t tried as of yet but I’m hopeful I can pop the pan out and maybe replace it with my own setting powder. The compact is a snowy white and features a very happy Olaf on the front! The powder itself features a Olaf as well but this will fade away quickly on the very first use and will disappear completely with a few uses. The compact also comes with a puff for application!
I wish Peripera Disney Frozen Snow Pride Up Powder doesn’t quite work for my drier skin unfortunately and the color doesn’t fit my skin tone but it sure is a cute pick up but might prove a little expensive at around $20 bucks at online retailers just for a case! If you like denser, drier textured powders you may like this one!
You can grab it from many Ebay.com sellers.
