Revlon Eyes to Be Desired Collection for Fall 2014

Revlon Eyes to Be Desired Collection

The new Revlon Eyes to Be Desired Collection for Fall 2014 is a showcase for the new, permanent Revlon Photoready Eye Art Lid + Lash + Line Pens! Yeah, I know, they look like nail polish right? I passed by the display at first but I scratched my head the set circle back and wondered why are they putting polishes in with new Revlon Photoready Kajal Matte Eye Pencils?

I quickly realized these were new cream shadows!

The Revlon Photoready Eye Art Pens are available in 10 shades and feature a dual sided pen design that houses a creamy shadow on one end and a sparkling eyeliner on the other. Nifty right? I was excited as I really like easy to use, no nonsense cream shadows! They have a sponge applicator for application and the liner side features a smaller, precise brush for use on your lash line. The colors are beautiful! They really look like nail polish to me! I can’t wait to try the ones I hauled (I got nine of the shades eep! Couldn’t resist).

Revlon Eyes to Be Desired

The Revlon Eyes to Be Desired Collection also features new Revlon Photoready Matte Kajal Eye Pencils in three shades (Lemon, Charcoal, Marine).

Revlon Photoready Matte Kajal Eye Pencils

Needless to say I’m curious how I’ll like the Revlon Photoready Eye Art Pens! I haven’t tested yet but will be doing so soon and of course, reviewing and swatching.

Anyone try them yet?

I haven’t seen this yet but it looks hella fun! But can we talk about that promo photo? Cause those two dudes in the background are looking reeeeal creepy, it sends the message, “Use our makeup and shady looking guys at the bar will try to smell your hair!”.

That’s what I was thinking! Sometimes I wonder what advertisers were actually trying to achieve…. 🙂 I am interested in the product despite the weird dudes though.

Oooo that kohl Marine color looks pretty! I’ll have to keep an eye out for these. I’m curious how the nail polish looking things do, that’s a fun design!

I feel like owning their nail polish duos and the eyeshadow/liner duos could easily lead to some unfortunate mishaps…. How strange that they used the same packaging.

Tried some of these yesterday… the neutral shades are good (the bronze is BEAUTIFUL and there’s a rosey pink gold that is pretty) but the olive green, purple and darker silvery blue sucked. They sheered out the second I blended them. I almost got the bronze but the glitter gel on the other end is not great. It’s really sticky but then once it dries, the glitter just flakes off everywhere. If I see them on sale, I’ll get it just for the cream shadow.

thanks wendy haven’t tried yet, was nice reading your thoughts so I can know what to expect, I kinda suspected they’d sheer out too bad 🙁

I’m hoping someone will find a dupe for the Josie Maran Coconut Water Eyeshadows.
