Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Brightening Eye Base Review & Swatches

Tony Moly Panda Dream Eye Base

Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Brightening Eye Base is a brightening cream stick that became available back in April from Korean brand, Tony Moly. It’s suppose to contain pearl which brightens up the eye area and creates a luminosity under eyes.

Yeah, the packaging is darling to say the least as it comes in a cute little chubby tube shaped like a panda! Since Panda’s are known for having the worst dark circles in the beauty world they are used and abused a lot in Asian marketing to advertise brightening eye treatments, eye creams, concealers, etc….:)

The Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Brightening Eye Base supposedly contains Haloxyl which is apparently a very effective way to rid yourself of dark circles! I’ve used this little guy for a month but can’t say it really treated my dark circles very much. I don’t have severe dark circles but I do have a bit of darkness under my eyes that I didn’t see a great improvement with after use!

Visibly it brightens instantly so you don’t have to wait for any one ingredient to “treat” your dark circles. For me it acts more like a highlight and makes trouble under my eyes a little more glaringly obvious. It’s not something you’ll want to use on its own so my suggestion is to apply it and follow up with a concealer. The color is a white pearlish shade with a luminous finish. I’m averse to applying glitter or shimmer under my eyes as it makes puffiness and finer lines look worst in my opinion so as soon as I apply this I feel like I’m putting a spotlight on those problem areas. I’ve seen people apply it on their lids to intensity shadows and brighten eyes up but personally it does not work like this for me either and goes on a little clumpy and has creasing issues as well.

The formula is dense but it applies easily and blends out smoothly. It doesn’t really add any moisture to my eyes nor is it drying. It’s not quite right for my skin tone but paler skin might find that it works a bit to brighten up the area! I’d say it might be best suited for paler skin and younger eyes!

Unfortunately, this one just adds to the worries under my eyes but doesn’t necessarily treat or brighten anything unfortunately. It’s the type of product you’ll have to try for yourself though as it might work for some but others will feel it doesn’t do very much or makes matters worst.

I got mine from ebay.com seller F2Plus1.

The panda packaging is cute but the formula looks like it would be a nightmare on any kind of bad skin around the eyes

Yes, for eye dark circles ad Panda is best choice. My dance team is using now the products of Yofi cosmetics. One of my team members suggested me this product and now after reading this post I am thinking of trying this one.

I liked this a lot. When you use it, you have to put it first before anything else under your eyes or over your blemishes(as it also helps; it makes the red and black pimples less noticeable after putting on this product and the concealer). When you dub a bit on your face using fingertips, you’ll see some sand like-brightening glitter-like thing, it amazed me. LMAO. I just noticed this last week. (: I hope this helps?

Is this a makeup or an eye cream? I mean can you leave it overnight like an eye pack?

It’s not eye cream, just an eye stick that helps brighten the eye area up. It’s not an overnight treatment. You can use it prior to concealer or over concealer to brighten the eye area up.
