Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor

Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor is a repromoted shade that’s part of the new Walgreens More Kisses promote that donates 25 cents of each sale to the American Cancer Society!

I actually purchased this on a whim because it contributed to Breast Cancer Awareness and not so much because I love the Wet n Wild Megalast Lipcolor Lipstick formula or even because I thought Think Pink was a nice shade.

Here’s some thoughts!

Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor is a muted cooler pink. I don’t really love bubblegum pinks like this nor do they look particularly good on my skin tone but the shade does look very MLBB (my lips but better) in the tube. Just beware as it’ll be a great shade for some folks but most will find it a little hard to pull off. It’s a tricky little shade as it looks good in the tube but applies rather badly on lips as it is quite muted and very cool. This isn’t to say someone out there won’t think it’s their perfect MLBB, it most definitely is I’m sure, but I think a majority of folks might not love on it.

Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor formula is unfortunately not one I’d rave. I dislike the Megalast Lipcolor Lipstick formula as it tends to fall into my natural lip lines and cracks as it dries down. I have drier lips and the matte finish just doesn’t play nice for me. I will say the texture is creamy and it glides on smoothly but within a few seconds it ends up falling into my lip lines and looks less than smooth and almost patchy on some levels.

Unfortunately the shade combined with the matte finish doesn’t make for a great lipstick experience!

If the Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor interests you it’s available now at Walgreens!

Funny, 3 of these shades made Allure’s best of beauty list for 2014, it was a nude, a berry, and a light pink. Always think it would be hard to find enough cheap thrills category, I’m usually not overly impressed with drugstore products, they are usually a dime a dozen.

I really like the color. But I know what you mean about the formula. The lighter shades like this tend to settle badly on me too. I kinda want it anyway but I know I should pass lol

I really enjoy this lipstick. I agree that the texture isn’t the best. I learn toward being a bit tan. Instead of applying a full opaque layer, I apply it sheerly and blend it into one coat. Then the pink looks brighter. I’ve also been digging the whole matte baby pink 60s mod look.
