Bobbi Brown Scarlett Lipgloss Review & Swatches

Bobbi Brown Scarlett Lipgloss is a new, limited edition shade that launched with the Bobbi Brown Scotch on the Rocks Holiday 2014 Collection. Tis the season for red lipsticks but I actually prefer gloss so I’m quite happy this lovely red shade of gloss instead!

Bobbi Brown Scarlett Lipgloss is a luscious shade of warm scarlett red sans shimmer or sparkle of any kind. This gloss has a smooth, glossy plushness on lips with an opaque finish on two layers and a faint vanilla fragrance and flavor.

The color is delightful worn on its own or over your favorite red lipstick to add depth and glossiness! I’m a lover of the Bobbi Brown Lipgloss formula because they give my lips a soft, plushy appearance with plenty of colors. Her darker shades normally have excellent pigmentation which is one reason I love her gloss formula and Scarlett does not disappoint in terms of pigmentation.

Typically Bobbi’s Holiday palettes capture my eye and attention but this year her individual limited edition lipstick and glosses are what really captured my attention.

Bobbi Brown Scarlett Lipgloss is a wonderful pick up if you want to wear a shiny, glossy red on lips and prefer the lighter consistency of a gloss compared to a lipstick. Or if you’d like a beautiful shade of red gloss to play companion to your favorite red lipstick.

I love this one and think it’s worth picking up!
