The Body Shop Chocomania Eau de Toilette Review

I should start off my review for The Body Shop Chocomania Eau de Toilette by saying I hate chocolate scented anything. It’s really rare for me to like a chocolate scented body wash, or soap, or perfume, etc…!

But The Body Shop Chocomania Eau de Toilette has successfully changed my mind because, well, it isn’t totally chocolate!

Well isn’t this delightful! I was busy purchasing a few gifts recently for myself (and maybe others, I just remember it was me, sitting at my computer muttering “Mine mine mine!” as I threw things in my cart) and it was one of those buy 5 get 5 million sales at The Body Shop because their sales are awesome good times so I was trying to even out my cart and needed one more item to tip my cart into sale zone and that’s when I decided, Hmmm, I’ll give The Body Shop Chocomania Eau de Toilette are whirl!

This isn’t doesn’t smell full on chocolate-y goodness. There’s chocolate yes but I’m not sure what The Body Shops mixes it with! Whatever the other notes are, well, they make it delicious. You get a nice warm, rich chocolate back note and up front there’s a certain fresh note that has a little muskiness to. This gives the fragrance a little bit of a sexy, sultry element.

Mmmm do like!

So if you’re in the mode for chocolate but don’t want to smell like a birthday cake this little fragrance brings it without over doing things. And hey, good news, it has a very nice linger! I didn’t get that unfortunately from Vanilla Brulee which got sucked up by my body chemistry! But none of the same problems with Chocomania! It wears nicely for several hours.
