Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer is a much raved about eyeshadow primer within Korea and has numerous raves right here in the US. I have to admit I’m a little slacker when it comes to eyeshadow primer! Every since Urban Decay changed the formula on Primer Potion I’ve used a variety of different shadow primers I liked but for some reason I’ve kinda been remiss using them!

This Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer was actually included with my recent Vagabond X Memebox. I’ve actually already tried in the past and liked it but it never quite made it into my daily round up because as I said, I’m such a shadow primer slacker lately.

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer comes in a small genie-like bottle with a long applicator wand. You can applied it with the attached sponge applicator, just dab on eyes, blend out, applied eyeshadow and go!

This is a transparent nude shade of beige pink with absolutely no sparkle or shimmer. It has a creamy yet slightly tacky consistency that blends easily onto lids and creates a solid barrier between your lids and eyeshadows for longer wear and crease-free shadow wear. The formula does quite well on oily lids, my best friend Jai is Asian and prone to oil eyelids and he loves this stuff. He even used it when he isn’t wearing eyeshadow just to soak up excess oil. I don’t personally have oily lids but it still works great for me and keeps my shadows vibrant and crease-free for hours on end. Etude House actually markets it as 24 hours of wear and likely it’ll keep shadow fresh that long as the formula is quite great.

If you’ve had your lumps and bumps with Urban Decay Primer Potion you might want to play a little switch-a-roo with Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer! It’s just as great if not better than Primer Potion!

You can shop it on F2Plus1 on Ebay.com or discover it Memeboxes at us.memebox.com.

I have oily lids and so far I have tried UDD eye primer,MAC paint pot,NARS eyeprimer and even TBS Instablur Eyeprimer but none of these seems to keep my eyeshadow intact for long..Within 4 to 6 hours my eyeshadow gets creased. Is there any other eyeshadow primer I can try?I will definitely try this Etude House but need more options..

Thank you for this! I love the smashbox (the newest one) but it can be a tiny bit thick for when I’m not doing full eye shadow. I have weird orbital areas that absorb color so primers are a must for me. I’m going to hunt it down now. I have quite a few etude products I enjoy and so we shall see. 🙂

This has been getting such good reviews on the blogs, so there is one ebay-ing it’s way toward me right now.

    Whuuuut? I don’t believe you! <_<

Okay, fine, I believe you. I'm loving my primer potion though… I don't think I'm ready to part with it yet. Also, Etude House is hard to get here 🙁

I’ve read somewhere that Innisfree’s eye primer is better than Etude House’s.. *A*

Omg yes! Étude proof 10 is a miracle for lids. I have very oily skin, am prone to oily lids and had a lot of difficulty making my eyeshadow last. Honestly, before proof 10 I could only go about an hr without creasing, maybe two if I set with powder–this stuff gave me a good eight hrs before I noticed any signs of fading, and even then it was minimal. Highly recommend. It does contain parabens though, that may be a downside for some.

Recently bought mine and I must say, it’s very effective! The eyeshadow colors are amplified and I don’t have any crease issues 🙂
