Visee Blend Color Cheeks Review & Swatches

Visee Blend Color Cheeks Blush

Visee Blend Color Cheeks is a blush slash contour slash bronzer all in one that released in Japan several months ago. I’ve been meaning to pick this blush up for a while so recently during my latest Japanese Makeup haul I grabbed a shade up.

Shall we take a look?

Visee Blend Color Cheeks PK4

Visee Blend Color Cheeks comes housed in a nice double compartment compact that features the blush on the top layer and a soft bristled brush on the bottom. The compact is a gunmetal design that features a raised floral border etching. It’s pretty and very high end looking.

Inside you’ll find swirls of gradating pinks. I choose the shade PK-4 which is a selection of dusky roses and softer pastel pinks and rose. The colors are beautiful and I was happy to have purchased this shade since I don’t have nearly enough dusky pink blush shades. The colors are broken down and should be applied in various places on your face to create a chiseled, contoured look but the swirls are so tiny I think it’s impossible to apply using this method so I simply swirl all the shades together and apply on the apples of my cheeks.

The texture has a soft silkiness but swatches very chalky. Lucky enough it doesn’t apply chalky but also doesn’t apply with a good deal of color. On my skin tone I can barely get color to show up so the pigmentation is very, very subtle. Subtle touches of blush aren’t a bad thing but I do like to be able to see some color on my cheeks and I get virtually none using this product!

It’s a terrible shame because in the pot the colors look quite pigmented.

Visee Blend Color Cheeks

All in all I’d give Visee Blend Color Cheeks a big thumbs down. I require a lot more pigment than this blush provides so it’s a skip for me. I think even very pale skin will likely have issues with this one.

Oh well!

I got my Visee Blend Color Cheeks from Adambeauty.com.

I purchased this item.

    Thanks for the review Muse!
I’ve read some reviews for this blush already but in different colors and most people say it’s quite pigmented. Perhaps this color is a bad one? >:

I only tried this one Marie and my friend got one of the beige shades and he experienced sheerness too…so out of those two shades I was disappointed. Who knows another shade might be great though? I’m not going to chance repurchasing though 🙂

That’s too bad about the pigmentation, but what pretty packaging! Reminds me of Anna Sui. Some day I’ll tell you my story about trekking up to Bev. Hills to buy Anna’s line the minute it came out lol.
