Memebox Superbox 69 Banila Co14

I recently got Banila Tint Balm in my Superbox #69 Banila Co from Memebox. I’ve tried a good deal of products from Korean brand Banila Co but the Tint Balm wasn’t one of them so I was happy to get it in my recent Memebox.

Here’s some thoughts!

Banila Tint Balm Swatches

Banila Tint Balm comes housed in a cute clear pot with a white and pink label top. Banila Co keeps things simple and chic with their packaging so you aren’t getting the “cutesy” packaging that Korean brands like Etude House are known for. But still, you’re getting some very nice, chic packaging that’s understated yet pretty.

The balm itself is clear but it “magically” transforms into a shade of pink once applied. It actually swatches pink but looks reddish pink on my lips. It has a dense texture yet applies with a jelly-like feel and a high sheen slightly glossy finish. It kinda tastes like grape candy and smells like it too. I find it lightly hydrating and comfortable on my lips and the reddish staining effect is pretty and natural with a nice shine-y look on my lips.

The pot packaging doesn’t make it travel friendly or hygienic in the least so that might be a quirk some can’t forgive (can’t blame you!) but none the less if you’re looking for a less is more reddish stain for lips that looks natural and has a nice shine while keeping lips nicely hydrated I’d say Banila Tint Balm is a nice pick up!

F2Plus1 on Ebay.com sells Banila Co and also carries it at their online shop at beautynetkorea.com.

hey muse! do you know how this compares with the tony moly magic lip tint? seems like the same concept but i was wondering if this one is a little less pigmented.

A little less pigmented dot! Same texture though and it is a little more shiny too!

I only use lip balm that come in jars at home because ya know, hygiene and shit, but apart from the packaging this looks great.

I really like these sort of products and I’ve purchased a few in the past. The problem I have with them is that they’re always super pigmented on my lips. I like the tint on your lips, but if I were to wear it, it would look like I ate a popsicle and it would be more fuscia.

I also dislike pot packaging. I always find hair or dust in mine =( great post!

awww totally understand! it really depends on how pigmented your lips are. sometimes they got BRIGHT pink on me too! same here, pot is so gross!
