Colourpop Lippie Stix Review & Swatches
Colourpop Lippie Stix are a swivel up lipstick stick with a beauty budget price tag of $5. Colourpop is a fun indie brand that I’ve been wanting to try a while now so I thought I’d start with their cult favorite Lippie Stix Lipsticks!
Shall we take a look?
Colourpop Lippie Stix come housed in a medium size white tube that swivels up for application. Each Lippie Stix has a slanted tip which fits the contour of lips nice and makes for easy application. These do not require sharpening and the slant ensures effortless application each and every single use.

One of the most impressive aspects of Colourpop is their incredible packaging and attention to detail. I can easily see myself paying $18 per a shade at say Sephora for these. Each comes housed in a very professional box with Colourpop’s logo gracing both the inner and outer packaging. This Indie brand went all out with their packaging yet still manage to keep costs down pricing these at a mere $5 each.
I got both a Satin and Matte finish Lippie Stix and unfortunately both are rather dry but I’m prone to dry lips so the formula isn’t exactly forgivable on me. If you love mattes though, well, no doubt you’ll enjoy these. They are super creamy with excellent pigmentation on the first application that builds easily. The formula is comfortable to wear but I find it accentuates my drier lips badly so lip balm and exfoliating prior proves helpful for the smoothest application. If your lips aren’t dry you should get a nice smooth, even finish with these. They wear for close to six hours without migrating or feathering. They have no fragrance or flavor. The shades I purchased look so natural and pretty on my lips and heck, even though my lips are dry as the Sahara at the moment I still think they look pretty smooth on my lips!

Needless to say I was very impressed with the formula for five bucks! Creamy, excellent pigment, long wear, what more could you want? But beware for those with dry lips as they aren’t exactly friendly on drier lips!
