Flower Ultimate Liquid Foundation Brush 4

The Flower Ultimate Liquid Foundation Brush is one of several new, permanent makeup brushes that launched recently at Walmart with the Drew Barrymore Flower Makeup Collection. It’s really nice to see that Drew is introducing new products to her collection such as makeup brushes and fragrances to keep things fresh and exciting with her collection.

I must say her Flower Ultimate Liquid Foundation Brush is very impressive! It’s the only brush I’ve tried from the Flower Makeup Collection but I can see myself wanting to indulge further if all the brushes are as good as this one.

Flower Ultimate Liquid Foundation Brush

The Flower Ultimate Liquid Foundation Brush is quite a large brush. This is a flat head brush with man-made hair that has a large black lacquer handle a rose gold “Flower” emblem. The handle is plastic but the brush actually has a nice weight to it and it feels and looks quite expensive.

At first I thought it was a little too large for my liking but upon using it I got used to the size easily and felt like I had nice control over the handle. It’s a basic foundation brush that you can use to swipe on foundation. You can’t really blend with it but it’s more about swiping on your product and blend with another brush or your fingers. It’s the equivalent of a MAC 190 but at half the price ($10.98).

The bristles are quite soft and didn’t split nor did they shed. I washed it three times and after each drying the bristled retained their shape perfectly and the texture remained soft as well!

If you’re looking for budget friendly makeup brushes the Flower Makeup Brush range is starting to looking very promising!

The Flower Ultimate Liquid Foundation Brush is available now exclusively at Walmart or Walmart.com.

Have you tried any of the Flower Makeup brushes?

Just bought a Sonia kashuk brush at Target Saturday for my sister. Wish I would have bought this instead.

Hi muse! What kind of makeup brush would you recommend for super liquid-y foundations, like dr perricone’s no foundation foundation or estee lauder’s invisible fluid foundation?

    • Isabella Muse

i always find those are formulas are sucked up by brushes. I tend to apply them with my finger tips to be honest. particularly no foundation foundation which is virtually sucked up into every single brush I own 🙂

Thanks! I always have the same experience with no foundation foundation. I usually use my fingers as well, I was just wondering if there was some sort of miracle brush out there somewhere lol

i wish! I always feel like my fluid foundations are SUCKED up by brushes. what kinda, sorta works is those new style rubber-like sponges that you get with cushion makeup. Those are pretty great for serum/fluid foundations!

This brush actually looks really nice! I’ve yet to try anything from her brand but this is tempting me to take a trip to Walmart lol

I have been very, very pleasantly surprised by Flower. I have to say, I think Drew truly did spend the time developing quality products instead of just pushing out anything to make $$$.
