MAC Nasty Gal Lipstick Swatches (Gunner, Runner, Stunner)
MAC Gunner Lipstick is possibly the most unique shade in this launch. It’s a dark purple with a satiny matte finish that’s opaque on a single stroke. The color is intensely pigmented and will look amazing on darker skin tones. I find the texture very creamy and it applies without tugging on lips but it looks best on me as you can see below with gloss on top as it was kinda dry looking on my drier lips. The formula isn’t entire forgivable on my drier lips and tends to look and feel even more drier as the wear time goes on. I can honestly get around seven hours out of wear with this but it isn’t a comfortable wear so gloss over it makes the shade and formula way more wearable.

MAC Runner Lipstick is also a matte finish that feels very satiny. It’s super creamy and opaque on a single swipe but it is a shade that needs a lip liner worn with it as it tends to want to migrate and creep above the lip line. If you have drier lips it’ll likely feather a bit as well. It’s also prone to dryness as the wear goes on. I can get about six hours of wear from it but during that time the color doesn’t fade but does tend to get drier and drier and drier. Although creamy I find it applies unevenly so as I mentioned above a lip liner may well help prevent this. I love the shade, I just don’t love the wear or application of it.

MAC Stunner Lipstick is the last in the Nasty Gal Collection and also has a matte finish but not the same satiny feel as the prior two shades. It’s not as thick nor as creamy and does tug during application a fair bit. It’s actually considerably less drier than the other two shades and looks smoother and even after application. The color wears for seven hours without migrating and leaves behind a very bright staining effect once it disappears completely.

The MAC Nasty Gal Lipsticks are most definitely for the matte lipstick lover out there. They have quirks here and there but the colors are intensely pigmented and dramatic which might just makeup for some of their quirks if you’re a fan of intense matte lipstick colors!
