About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Gotta say I’m intrigued by the JM exfoliating cleansing powder. She used to have just an exfoliating powder which was quite nice – I still have most of a jar of it left – but this has tickled my fancy too!! I got a jar of the Sephora brand during the pre-Xmas sale, and may have to put this on my list of stuff to get when/if Sephora does another sale in April!

All of the new Sephora brand stuff looks really good. Charcoal swabs? never considered those two things would work together.

I was wondering if the JM cleansing powder was the same as the one from a few years ago. Sounds like it may have been improved.

sounds like a new formula right? I know those kinda sounded strangely interesting 😀

I’m wondering how the Dior product will compare to YSL’s Kiss & Blush product, which I totally love.

  • Amy

The packaging on that foundation makes me wonder whether they’re trying to imitate Armani Maestro’s formula.

  • Rachel R.

The Sephora Mixed Metals palette looks really pretty. I love the color of the Dior tint, too.

I’m with Adia on this one. But of the Muse has it (sorry, just seen a LOTR-marathon) it would be nice to not only have a comparision between the Dior and YSL but also throw a Benetint, Bodyshop- and the Models & co lip & cheek stain in the mix.
