Pure Smile Snail Hand Cream

I recently got Pure Smile Snail Hand Cream in My Cute Wishlist Memebox which I unboxed for you earlier last week! I’m on a hand cream roll lately….! But let me tell you nothing replaces my favorite hand cream around this time a year which is Dionis Peppermint Hand Cream if you never tried it you MUST!

Anyway, I put away my Dionis for a few days to give Pure Smile Snail Hand Cream a run and here’s my thoughts!

Snail secretion popped up in everything from BB Cream to facial moisturizer in Korea a year or two ago. I know sounds gross but it’s actually quite a hydrating ingredient.

Pure Smile Snail Hand Cream contains snail extract as well as hyaluronic acid. This has a thin, gel-like texture that absorbs easily into skin. It’s really a basic hand cream and great for keeping popped up on your desk because it won’t make your hands greasy yet provides light hydration through the day. It’s a plus that it comes in a tube as well as Korean brands are fond of hand creams in pots which doesn’t make them easy to use when you’re on the go.

Pure Smile Snail Hand Cream swatches

It has a light tropical creamy fragrance kinda coconut-ish and vanilla. Very pretty and a very light fragrance!

I did expect it to be more moisturizing considering the ingredients but it’s very, very light on the moisture but still nice for using at work as it won’t make your hands super greasy!

It was in my Memebox but you can purchase it for $2.50 at Sasa.com!

What are your fav hand creams?

I’m a hand cream junkie! I like “Rich Girl” (Debra Lippman) when I can afford it. For every day, I like Cerave cream, or generic Eucrerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Cream. And I make a batch of my own every winter with vaseline, baby lotion and vitamin e cream. Whip it up in my stand mixer and give for gifts. People love it!

wait what Vaseline baby lotion and vitamin e? I’m trying this! I hope I don’t burn the house down doing it hehe! it sounds awesome!

Yes-one tub of vaseline; one jar of cheap vitamin e cream and one bottle of baby lotion. I buy the stuff at the dollar store and mix it in my Kitchen Aid stand mixer with the balloon whip thingie. No cooking required, and you can add a few drops of a scented oil if you wish. It is a little greasy for work, but I use it at home and just love it! The mixer cleans up in the dishwasher, and I put it in cute containers from a hobby store.

I adore the Yeon Jeju Canola Honey silky hand cream from the From Jeju Memebox. I’m almost out though and it looks to be difficult to find 🙁
