Tarte Ethereal Pink Butter Lipstick

Tarte Ethereal Pink Amazonian Butter Lipstick is a new, permanent Spring 2015 shade that will be available December 15th. Yeah, I know, Tarte Spring 2015 already? But yup, on the 15th you can get your hands on the new Tartelette Eyeshadow Palette as well as the entire Spring 2015 range including Tarte Ethereal Pink Amazonian Butter Lipstick!

Tarte Ethereal Pink

Tarte Ethereal Pink Amazonian Butter Lipstick is a pretty medium dusky pink shade that’s ideal for Spring looks. It comes housed in new packaging featuring ombre purple with festive gold confetti decorating the tube and “Tartelette” in script written across it.

Tarte originally launched the Amazonian Butter Lipstick in the Tarte Journey to Natural Beauty QVC Set. I’m thankful it later released in other shades and became a permanent part of Tarte’s makeup collection as I really love this formula.

The lipstick has a gum-like taste and fragrance that I find very pleasant. The formula is weightless and glides onto lips in a soft, buttery melt leaving behind color and a lovely sheen. I love lipsticks like this as they are so soothing and hydrating on my lips. The formula contains cupuacu and murumuru butters which gives the texture a soft buttery texture that’s lightly moisturizing and soft on my drier lips.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I don’t see that on the tarte site right now, but I do see a lipsurgance hydrating lip crème. Looks like their take on the tinted balm? Interesting…

  • Emily

If I didn’t have about 20 pink lipsticks already I would so get this!!! Oh well….

  • Agata

It is a lovely shade but I can’t brace spring collections yet, lol (as much as I hate winter). Have you seen the Spring Clarins collection is already available at Macy’s (and it’s gorgeous!!)

    • Isabella Muse

I KNOW! saw it was like STHU! it’s a little absurd. I hate how seasons are rushed away in the makeup world!

      • Agata

Yes, I know what you mean and then I am tempted to buy all new releases thinking once spring does come it will be all sold out.

        • Isabella Muse

oh don’t….some of these items are permanent 😀 so you have time to decide what you want 🙂

This makes me think of the lipstick queen jean queen lipstick. Which is one of my favorites!

  • Joan

Isabella, from your post yesterday, looks like there was a blush case. Are there new blush shades coming out or are they going to be releases from previous collections and will you be posting those soon? Can’t wait. Are there going to be other shades in that lipstick or is that the only shade?

    • Isabella Muse

Hey Joan, so far they only told me about one blush releasing with Spring 2015 which is entitled Celebrate. It’s a very very sheer shade. Aside from that they haven’t told me more. I suspect after the holidays, towards mid Jan, we’ll hear about them possibly revamping the blush range considering it’s been on clearance and they already revamped other pieces in the perm collection. so I imagine the blush is up next but of course, that’s only me assuming!

  • Joan

Oh no. Hope they don’t discontinue some of my favs. They already discontinued Amused which I loved. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see. Thanx!

Oh no Muse, I haven’t even finished getting all the holiday things yet! 😄 Do you know if the spring line will be at Sephora or Ulta on the 15th, or just the Tarte website? I’m finding I prefer to check things out in person more and more lately… Not least because of the slow holiday shipping!

  • Penny

I am a lip junkie so I am sure I will have to try this…looks so much darker in the tube than on the lips, which may or may not work for me…hope to see some more shades! 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

they already have a range of shades available penny maybe one of those would suit you better!

  • Beverly

The packaging on this totally hooked me and reminds me of Paul & Joe.It’s great to see more lip formulas being released for those with dry lips. I’m excited to try this formula out!
