Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel

Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel for Spring 2015 ($34) is a new peeling gel that gently exfoliates skin. Peeling gels are super popular in Asia and you might know as I’ve featured many on Musings of a Muse including one of the more popular ones, Cure Natural Aqua Peeling Gel.

Peeling gels can be super interesting products as they aren’t as harsh as a grainier scrub. These are actually a gel consistency and don’t really have harsh salts, sugars, or other grains.

The lightweight gel is massaged onto your face and it gently peels away dead skin cells as you massage. Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel acts in the same way. It’s one of the few peeling gels that I’ve seen available in the mass market here in the US.

Simply pump two squirts into your hands, massage gently onto your skin, and you’ll feel the product break up. I haven’t tried Boscia’s version but most Korean and Japanese formulas end up looking like layers of skin are literally peeling off as you massage your face. It’s kinda weird! Cure’s version is one of my favorites but I’ve found over the years I prefer grainy exfoliators as they work best on my drier skin.

But if you’re looking for a product that gently exfoliates peeling gels are an excellent way to go!

Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel is available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve always wanted to try one of these. I feel like grainy exfoliants rip my skin up, but this might not.

I literally just received the Cure gel in the mail yesterday. How did I miss the boat on these exfoliators? Anyway, I used it last night and I loved it. My skin felt smooth as glass afterwards. I can’t wait to use it on my knees and elbows. Nice to see another option for us thats easier to buy than ebay.

AH! awesome 😀 I’m glad you like it. Def a new way to exfoliate. Lots of Japanese brands have them available! Skinfood has a pineapple one that’s interesting!

I just bought the Boscia gel the other day and it works really well. I always have the worst dry skin around acne to the point where I can’t wear foundation or coverup when I breakout because my skin peels so horribly, but using this took off the dead skin and let my moisturizer work better. I also have somewhat sensitive skin and it didn’t upset my face. I definitely recommend it.
