About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. OMG I think I really want those lipsticks! The colors are right up my alley! It usually takes me a while to go through my lipsticks and I’m guessing these are the small ones, but 3 different nude colors for the price of one… :D! Where in stores can I find it?

It’s not actually a product, but I found Flash shipping from Sephora today for $10. You know that beta test thing they only rolled out to select people? Well it’s finally available for us peasants. $10 for free 2-day shipping for a year with NO minimum purchase. That’s what sold me. So many times I find something on Sephora’s site for $10-$20 and I blow it off because I’m cheap and I don’t want to pay $6 shipping on a $10 product. Power to the people lol!

Thanks for this great heads up post, Muse! I’m crushing hard on the Bare Minerals lipstick trio and the Too Faced bronzer set! Why oh why am I not made of money!!!

    Great list, Muse! Thank you.

I love the end of January, when everyone has huge sales or is introducing value kits like these. I get to go shopping for my birthday this weekend, so I’ll be on the lookout for a few of these! 🙂

I actually found the bare minerals lip set at Macys.com last week (its sold out now, a Estee Lauder lip gloss & mini mascara for $15 and then the Estee Lauder full size mascara, a double ended black/brown eyeliner pencil and mini advanced night repair eye cream for $26. I found it by accident but for anyone who is interested Macys.com has a “Beauty Under $25” after selecting Beauty. I missed the Urban Decay Black Magic 24/7 but they still have some other goodies.
