Chubby Blush Sticks Will Take Over the World This Summer

Chubby Blush Sticks

Chubby Blush Sticks Will Take Over the World This Summer! Maybe…!

I’m seeing more and more brands that embrace the Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm packaging. Ya know the chunky, chubby sticks that you can swipe on and blend out super quickly!

I think come Summer we’ll be seeing more and more chunky, chubby little domed shaped blushes that are easy to apply for a quick flush of luminous color. Clinique already has one, as does higher end brands like Charlotte Tilbury and even smaller brands like Kiko and Gosh have their own!

Personally I think you might see them trending For Summer. I have a funny feeling that Sephora might do one, as hell, Ulta already has one for cheeks and lips why not Sephora next? I’d love to see a mid-range like Too Faced or Urban Decay do one.

What do you think of a possible Chubby Stick world domination for Summer? Maybe an upcoming beauty trend for the warmer weather?

I love these but I always find the formulas aren’t long wearing on my skin so I end up having such a love hate relationship with not only blush sticks but cream blushes in general! You’d think creams would work better on my drier skin but they have a knack for slipping away into oblivion after like three hours (sometimes less)!

Who would you like to see to do some sort of chubby blush stick?

Any that you use at the moment and love?

Do share!

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I really love the clinique robust rhubarb, doesn`t last long but is really pretty. Have you tried the benefit majorette that blush is amazing, the color, the texture and it last!!!

I do indeed remember that 🙂 it was after clinique had launched their version. I haven’t tried them yet but I blogged them when they originally came out, nice to hear they are lovely! might have to try!

I think FLOWER Beauty has a Lip & Cheek stick out right now. I haven’t tried it yet, but I recently discovered how cool the brand is. They have a powder-to-creme blush I just semi-reviewed on my blog; it’s a wonderful alternative to my favorite creme blushes from Chanel.

I love that blush crayon sticks are so easy to use (feel like a 5 year old with crayons), and they probably last long enough for most people. But unfortunately, I have teflon cheeks, so I have to use a blush stain, than a powder blush on top to make the color last. If they come out with one that has the lasting power of a stain, I would be all over it!

Well, on the one hand I hate washing out my makeup brushes. On the other hand I find that sticks and products you’re supposed to be able to apply with your fingers usually end up being more of a hassle.

Hiya! I’ve just discovered your blog after doing a search for reviews of Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color, which I got for my birthday recently as my family know how I love Etude House 🙂 Anyway just wanted to say what a gorgeous site you have, how I enjoy reading it, and I’ve signed up for the email updates so I don’t miss anything in future! I have a blog as well but because I work in beauty retail I don’t get much time to update it; I’ve linked to it here if you want to have a look but be warned – it’s nowhere near as fab as yours! You’ve inspired me though to make sure I get it going again, so thank you 🙂 P.S. I love your review of the Etude House Sweet Recipe, by the way!

I love makeup sticks of any kind. They’re super quick, and so portable so very they travel nicely. I find that alas alot of them don’t last long, but can live with this issue. If I want them to last longer, on initial application on eyes or cheeks I top with a powder product in the same color and viola longer lasting color. Thank you Muse for bringing this topic up for thought. Since spring/summer is quickly approaching, lots of of new pretties to try and play with. 🙂

too true susan 😀 tons of new goodies upcoming! thanks! I’ll try that! because they wear so short on me!

Really disappointed in the Ulta blush stick. Blended away to no color pay off.
