About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I love the packaging enhancement but I can’t stand floral scents/flavors on my lips!

…..the “extreme” is printing and rose scent? Not more pigment? Bummer. I don’t want to feel think I’m eating flowers when putting on lip balm. Sad face.

I must be the only person in the world to dislike these! I don’t like the texture and it isn’t really hydrating to me. This is cute though. A bit unimaginative but I’m sure fans will enjoy.

I really like the packaging. I have to say that while I own these, they aren’t my first choice. I agree that they aren’t the perfect hydration for me.

That said, the Honey is a really nice nude. I thought “extreme” was going to be more pigment as well since there is quite a bit in the honey.
I’m also not sure how I would react to the rose scent and flavor. It could be good or could go terribly wrong very quickly. LOL

I never had any luck with ROsebud Salve and a lot of folks swear by it. I always thought it was a little too thin and made my lips more chapped. Maybe rose on the lips doesn’t work for me. I really wish both Sephora’s weren’t such a punish lesson to get to so I could play.

I might be getting this because of the cute tube.. But my favorites are Rose and Petal. I do wonder if there are any actual differences in formula with the original Rose though.
