Lorac Dazzling Dozen 2 Eyeshadow

Some of the Lorac Spring 2015 has launched on Ulta today! One item I’m excited about is the Lorac Dazzling Dozen 2 Eyeshadow Collection that will be exclusively available at Ulta and Ulta.com shortly (it isn’t yet available).

Take a look!

You might recall that last year Lorac introduced a Dazzling Dozen Collection which many of you picked up and loved. This new collection includes 12 full size Lorac Eyeshadows with a soft, silky formula. I have quite a few individual Lorac Eyeshadow pots and I adore them so it’s nice to see a cheap set that includes twelve of them for $39, that’s $3.25 each per shade! Nice!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Based on your glowing recommendation, I purchased last year’s Dazzling Dozen and it really is a great deal. But I’ve come to realize that I’m not a fan of individual shadow pots and prefer palettes (which really has become a 12 step worthy addiction – I’ve ordered the Unzipped Gold palette) so I will probably pass on these…unless of course I see it in person and love the colors!

Completely understand, total palette addict too 😀 but I still feel tempted by this!

you could always depot them into a magnetic pallet, you could also make a DIY pallet that is way nifter than a z pallet. just to give you ideas 😉

they don’t say so in the press release but I’d say yeah since last year’s sold out fast Alex but never returned!

I have last years and honestly I should give it more love. I’ve been all about the palette lately myself. Are there any dupes between the two sets? Maybe if I get a coupon for my birthday…

I really need to STOP! ugh, but so many pretty colors and textures makes it very difficult. LOL

Do you have any idea when the Dazzling Dozen 2 Eyeshadows are launching at Ulta? I’ve been patiently waiting and nothing!

I want to buy them online. The Ulta in my area never carries enough stock of Lorac products. Everytime I go they are always out of stock. What a shame 🙁

It is avaiable now!! I just purchased this online from the ULTA website… do you have any swatches of these colors? (no patience! LOL)

I have the first set and attempted to depot them. After breaking two and (out of 3) i have up and left them in their pots. I added magnets to the back and created a magnetic photo frame (check Pinterest for directions) and find myself reaching for them (and my other singles)more than many of my palettes (and I have MANY). Keeping them in reach and in sight is the key to giving my products the love they deserve. I cant wait to add this set to my collection.

I just received the dazzling dozen 2 today and decided that I wanted to depot them. There is a bit of a trick to it. What I did was take the label off and set it aside and then took a lighter to melt the bottom. Afterwards, I poked a hole through what I melted and realized that I only melted the very outer shell and that the actual plastic that was holding the product was the next layer. So I took some pliers and broke off the plastic casing and was left with the product and the plastic that was around it. Once you melt the plastic, you can use anything to push the melted plastic upwards and the pan lifts right out. I had no casualties, not even dents in the eyeshadows. It’s kind of like how the MAC singles are except you can’t just use a butterknife you pop out the insert, you have to actually tear it apart.

Always disappointed when they produce these boxed sets yet don’t sell the colors independently. I am in love with Ecru but cannot find it in a single.
