Lorac POREfection Concealer4

Lorac POREfection Concealer is a new Spring 2015 permanent concealer launch for Lorac that’s available in eight shade selections. Lorac POREfection Concealer is an oil free formula that promises full coverage.

Let’s take a look and see how this one performed.

Lorac POREfection Concealer

Lorac POREfection Concealer ($24) comes housed in a 0.50 oz squeeze tube, might I say, that’s a hell of a lot of concealer. That’s double the size of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer at the same price!

Honestly, going into this review I thought to myself that POREfection Concealer felt a lot like the new Maybelline Master Conceal Camouflaging Concealer but with a little more coverage. I wouldn’t say this is full coverage concealer but the formula toes the line at just medium or can obviously been applied sheer should you desire!

It’s quite creamy but not emollient and has a very soft, moist formula that blends easily under drier eyes. It brightens up eyes quite nicely and doesn’t crease into my finer lines and provides fairly good coverage for reducing the appearance of my puffiness and finer lines. I’d say I like it but I don’t love it. It wears well for about six hours (without setting with powder) and has a little but of fading at the six hour mark but nothing too dramatic, set with powder I can get all day wear without an issue.

Lorac POREfection Concealer (PC4/Beige)

If you have darker circles I don’t think the formula will provide incredible coverage but for those looking to brighten up eyes and concealer minor dark circles, tired eyes, finer lines, and puffiness this should do the trick.

Beware of the shades as I got two colors the first of which was PC3 and this was VERY yellow. The second shade I got was PC4 and this is called “beige” but it does have pinker undertones. So this is a concealer you should swatch in store because the shades aren’t your run of the mill light, medium, dark colors.

The weird thing about Lorac POREfection Concealer is the formula is lovely and I should adore it but it seems like something is missing here and I can’t quite put my finger on what it is! It’s creamy, it’s moist, it has decent pigmentation, but I dunno, I just didn’t really love it….! Maybe because it sheered out considerably during application and I expected something with more fuller coverage?

I’m not sure, but Lorac POREFection Concealer missed the mark slightly with me!

Anyone try it?

The color you swatched looks like a perfect match for me. While I like full coverage i might still grab this for the days I do the bare minimums with just concealer and mascara… Great review. Here I thought this might match up to bye bye under eye or be even better since the size & price. Meh

Ummmm… so does it conceal pores? Based on the name, I thought that was the main purpose of this concealer. Or, is that just the name of this particular line they’ve released?

That’s disappointing about the formula. The packaging looks a lot like the Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer that I use and I wondered if it was similar in texture as well.
