About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve already bought a 1 ounce bottle of the Escada, and I seriously may buy another larger bottle as well! It’s a really nice fragrance. It’s fruiyt and candy like without being too “young” feeling.

You know that purfume is really expensive when bath and body works has a purfume called endless weekend and it smells exactly like it for like 14$ for the frangrance must then 25$ for the perfume

I want to smell the Marc Jacobs. Daisy is such an amazing fragrance, plus this bottle is beautiful, I’d buy it for the cool bottle:)

I really like the escada, juicy and marc jacobs. I didn’t care for the new philosophy at all, may be the most displeasing philosophy smell ever which is unfortunate because I think the bottle is beautiful.

i haven’t smelled it yet and was curious. Philosophy fragrances that always capture me.

I usually enjoy the philosophy too. My favorite are the loves- they have more of a gourmand smell to them. This was very heady and old lady esque to me. PS- when are we doing din? 🙂

The Turquoise Summer looks interesting. By the way Muse, you should check out Madina Inc. on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. They have copies of just about every designer scent ever created in perfume oil form, and their fakes are impossible to distinguish from the originals. They also sell the perfumers alcohol, so you can make your own cologness and eau de toilettes from the perfume oil if you so desire. I always go there if a newly launched fragrance is beyond my budget. They will no doubt have these new scents as well, very soon. You can view their entire fragrance catalog at http://www.madina.com 🙂

I’ve actually been there bebe, I brought one oil, forget which, but it smelled really bad…! I remember thinking it smelled great in store but really didn’t work on my skin! 🙁 Maybe I should give it another go 🙂

I always look forward to the new Marc Jacobs and Escada fragrances every spring.

So sorry to hear that, Muse. Was it a designer copy? because they tend to smell pretty good. Some of the heavier single note scents like musk, patchouli, amber, and sandalwood can turn bad on the skin depending on the person’s chemistry, but the designer copies usually maintain their scent throughout it’s wear without changing. Anyway, I hope you give it another go, and if you do, please post a review. Good Luck. 🙂

it was marc jacobs something Bebe…! Maybe I’ll try again and get lucky 🙂 thanks chica!

They are having a sale on fragrancenet.com and they have a the Escada Turquoise Summer fragrance, I waited too long to get the 3.4oz and they sold out, But I am definitley getting the smaller bottle from them for 25% off, can’t beat that and I collect the Escada LE perfumes. And that Marc Jacobs Sorbet is calling my name I gotta get a sample of that one!
