Physicians Formula Youth Wear Spotless CC Cream

Physicians Formula Youth Wear Spotless CC Cream is a new Spring 2015 CC Cream launch with an All-in-One formula that promises to correct spots while preventing them!

Now the nice thing about Physicians Formula Youth Wear Spotless CC Cream is it promises that I’ll up to 10 years younger using it. Way to sell something to me, promise me youth and I’m all over it ha!

Take a look!

Physicians Formula Youth Wear Spotless CC Cream is formulated to act as an all in formula that protects skin with an SPF 30, corrects spots and prevents them with a formula that perfects, hydrates, and corrects. This is available in two shade selections of Light and Light Medium which does cripple who can use it but generally I seem to get on with either the Light or Light Medium in Physicians Formula products so I can easily use or test them without a problem.

Generally Physicians Formula has a good range of BB and CC Creams. They are a nice creamy, fairly pigmented, and do a good job brightening up skin, easing dullness, and creating a nice flawless look. Sometimes I run into one or two that I don’t love as the formula is too thick, too mask-like, too unnatural looking on my skin. Where as other times I run into formulas that I do like. It’s a bit hit and miss with their formulas. On a whole I think many of their products an prove repetitive though so it’s kinda unnecessary to keep buying new versions of their BB and CC Creams when in the end they are all almost just like their predecessors.

Physicians Formula Youth Wear Spotless CC Cream is one of those miss formulas for me. They promise a little too much here with a formula that won’t really “treat” dark spots but only make them look better and even that’s questionable. The box says 100% of test subjects saw lighter and less dark spots. In my experience with Youth Wear, I’ve never seen any difference in my dark spots and in the case of the Youth Wear CC Cream, I didn’t feel like my spots were treated or looked any better after two weeks of use. They also promise this works great on finer lines and wrinkles but again, this is questionable to me even though I do not yet have finer lines on my face.

All that aside I’m mostly interested in how the coverage looks and performs on my skin. I don’t particularly love this formula and feel like there are far better BB Creams to try from Physicians Formula. This is a lighter medium beige shade that goes orange-y on my skin and gives my duller skin a tired look. Coverage is sheerer and the texture is runny and separated out of the tube so be sure to shake well prior to application. With a brisk shake you’ll find the consistency is creamier but still applies thinly with a watery consistency. It seems to oxidize almost instantly on my skin and goes quite orange-y which isn’t a good look for me. It does wear for a very short for me and fades at around the two hour mark!

Personally Physicians Formula makes some great BB Creams and some great CC ones but Physicians Formula Youth Wear Spotless CC Cream isn’t really one of them for me. It’s a very over marketed product that likely won’t deliver much of what it promises. Marketing aside though, I really don’t love the formula as it makes my skin look dull and the color match is poor with a really short wear.

Oh well!

This one is sadly a skip for me.

Woow I feel like kind of ignorant about the subject. cc and bb cream now those are really terms I need to read about.

I used this cream, and it serves it’s purpose as a concealer. A bit runny, true but I like that as it helps me save it. Also a bit on the orange side if I use too much, but normally I can blend it well and I just look like I have a perfect tan.
