Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection

Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection ($16) is a new Urban Decay Spring 2015 launch that’s extremely innovating! Seriously, this blew my mind. We have so many products for correcting mistakes, prepping our makeup, etc…etc…but this is truly like nothing else on the market currently.

So what is it?

Jump ahead and find out.

There are those days that I do my eye makeup and it looks amazing! And of course, to push that eye look into awesome sauce-land I finish it with a few layers of my favorite mascara. And those are the days my mascara ends up mucking up. Or….sometimes I’m testing a new mascara, the formula is rubbish, and I end up with a uni-lash look (aka all my lashes are just stuck together). Typically I end up combing out my mistakes when my lashes end up clumped together.

No more!

I has Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection now bitches!

This is a clear serum that brings mascara back to life! It corrects clumpy applications so you can pile back on your mascara or moistens up your lashes at the end of the day so you can re-apply your mascara without making a mess.

Urban Decay Resurrection

So…here’s the situation…it’s Monday, you’re in a hurry but your eye makeup is perfect, ok, time is running out, you gotta catch the train, you hurry and swipe on mascara. OH NO! You applied it too quickly and now your lashes are all clumped up and a gooey mess. This is a real problem people. Can’t tell you how many times I’m rushing and my mascara ends up looking gooey and gross. Typically I’d use a lash comb and just comb out the clumps. Simple, effective.

BUT now I can use Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection (which actually works a little bit better than a lash comb in my humblest). Simply run the brush through your lashes and the serum acts to soften up your mistakes while detangling your gooey lashes. Best part? You can now reapply mascara on top of that mess you created without fear of creating a new mess. The serum acts to separate lashes and de-clumps mascara so you can freshen up the mistakes you made.

Now…

Second use.

You’re at work, it’s the end of the day, you’re heading out for an evening of fun and want to freshen up your mascara. Now…I typically don’t reapply mascara in all honesty but might consider it now as a swipe of Urban Decay Resurrection will make lashes more pliable and soft after a long day so you can easily head back in and reapply your mascara to your lashes without creating a clumpy mess. The soft serum hydrates your lashes, kinda moistens them up, and allows you to quickly apply more mascara after a long day without mucking up your lashes! If you have issues with mascara that’s too stiff and makes lashes crunchy, a simple swipe of this will give your lashes a new lease on life!

I also thought that it made for a rather great product to rev up old mascaras I kinda toss aside and hate on. I have so many mascaras that I just don’t use since I test a lot for the blog…! This is actually a nice way to get the formula to work for me a bit better for me!

I love products that surprise me. I like products that are new and interesting. Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection brings that to my beauty world this Spring. This is a interesting take on mascara mistakes and reapplications! It might just become a makeup bag essential for you.

Likey!

Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection will be available later this month at Sephora, Ulta, Macys, Beauty.com, and urbandecay.com.

Sounds very interesting! I was totally expecting it to be another mascara, but nope!

i use a single coat of lashblast to refresh my mascara if I want to take it from office to night time. it works like a charm every time, no matter what mascara you are wearing underneath. I am curious about this new UD product though.

I need that in my life, especially for the Maybelline mascara that I purchased and hated most of the time. Formula is too thick.

it seems like one of those nifty tools that will totally re-formulate mascaras that I HATE and waste money on that lay and rot in my stash 😀

“I had Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection now bitches!”

This line made me laugh and laugh. This is why I love your reviews.

I need this too, like yesterday.

For $16, I will totally give this a whirl. I was expecting a higher price point. I really like your thoughts on using this Muse. I’m not one to really touch up my mascara, but there are days exactly like you describe: everything else is perfect except my wonky spider lashes. Thanks for the great thoughts on this.

A long long long time ago Tarte had a similar product called Rejuvelash. I think they might actually be similar products. Thank gawd because Rejuvelash was discontinued way back.

Okay this stuff is available TODAY on the Urban Decay website, and my fingers are itching to Order. Have you any idea yet how many more days (or weeks, eek) it will be until Sephora gets it? I want to wait and get it from Sephora so I’ll get points for it, but gah, I can hardly stand it without knowing how long the wait will actually be

at sephora stores or online? Online I imagine late this week or next! In stores, depends, typically within a two weeks of launch. Hope this helps!? 🙂
