About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I LOVE brushes. I have way too many but can’t resist getting new ones. Can’t say any of them are life changing but the IT Cosmetics dual end foundation brush is the absolute best. Love my Beauty Blender and the ring for it is fab!

I’m dying to see the width on the Elf brush. I’m hoping it’s thin enough to contour, like the Nars Ita. And I’m interested in that lash comb too, but I’m a little scared of it lol! I think I’ll wait for reviews before I poke my eye out 😉

I’m wincing looking at the Sephora lash comb. I can imagine my-self half asleep in the morning, trying to comb my lashes, and scraping myself in the eye with it(ouch). The ring for the Beauty Blender seems overpriced, and it should be a net design, to allow the Blender to dry properly. I have the Elf Slanted Kabuki and love it, curious about this new one.

ahhhh! i want the Cle de Peau Beaute Radiant Powder Foundation Brush! it looks very much like the ‘one’ brush from becca but less expensive, most ironically. <3

ok…so I love new things and all but some of these are just so shamefully gimmicky. That beauty blender stand? Just cmon! Also, that Sephora lash comb looks like a lice comb… ew :/

that sponge holder, hahaha. because of course you’d pay 29$ for a blinged out napkin ring 😀
