Fortune Cookie Soap’s Hair Oil Review

Fortune Cookie Soap's Hair Oil

I picked up Fortune Cookie Soap’s Hair Oil during their Holiday 2014 release in the scent Jelly of the Month Club. At the moment, Fortune Cookie Soap isn’t stocking their Hair Oil but their Spring 2015 Collection is launching shortly so I have hopes it’ll be available in new Spring shades later this month!

Fortune Cookie Soap’s Hair Oil is an argan oil based Hair Oil that comes in a glass bottle with dropper. I typically don’t use hair oils all that much as they cause build up and make my hair a bit greasy. I’m not prone to greasiness but hair oil used daily ends up making it looks and feel greasy!

Which is why I’m really liking this formula a lot! It’s very lightweight with a runny consistency that isn’t thick or oil-like in texture. It almost feels like water to me and absorbs super easily. It also smells delightful! Jelly of the Month is one of my favorite fragrances at the moment from Fortune Cookie Soap, such a shame it’s LE. It’s a fruity, slightly sweet, slightly spicy mix of fruits! The smell lingers ALL day in my hair which is one plus of using the oil.

I use on my wet hair so I typically comb out my hair, flip it over, and run a two or three drops through my hair, concentrating on my drier ends. It makes my hair very soft without looking shiny
or greasy plus I can use it daily without build up issues!

I really like this one. It’s formulated quite well for a hair oil and isn’t too heavy yet adds plenty of moisture to drier hair.

If you have drier hair this one is a must have.

Hopefully for Spring 2015 we get some new fragrances in the formula as it’s an awesome hair oil!
