I recently picked up a few shades of Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Wow Gloss because UK Bloggers have been raving them as a great lipgloss formula. The only cost me like $2 bucks and some change so it was a nice little budget pick up!
If you don’t know Makeup Revolution is a British brand that kinda falls into the realms of brands like Sleek Makeup and MUA Makeup Academy. It’s quite budget friendly and they have a ton of Too Faced Cosmetics dupes such as the Return to Sexy Palette, Chocolate Bar Palette, and even dupes of the popular Too Faced Sweethearts Blush!
Let’s take a look at the Makeup Revolution Wow Gloss formula!
Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Wow Gloss comes housed in a similar flat packaging as Hourglass Prodigy Lipgloss and the Sephora Divergent Lipglosses. These have a doe foot sponge applicator that saturates well with color and applies the gloss beautifully well to lips.
Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Wow Gloss Swatches (Watch Out World and Scarlet)
For the price, these are actually really nice. Both shades I tried had excellent pigmentation with a soft cream finish sans glitter, shimmer, or sparkle. The texture is thin yet creamy with a slightly glossy finish that wears comfortably on my lips. I find they apply a little bit patchy on drier lips like mine so prep well if you have dry lips. They wear for around two hours on my lips but the glossiness does tend to fade around the 30 minute mark for me so I’m left with creamy color sans shine. They aren’t drying but color does tend to creep a little around my upper lip line so transparent lip liner wouldn’t go amiss here. They have absolutely no fragrance or flavor.

Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Wow Gloss (Watch Out World)
I wouldn’t say Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Wow Gloss is the most groundbreaking gloss formula in the world but for the price they are quite a nicely pigmented gloss that comes in a range of fun, opaque colors that wear comfortably on lips!
