Mizon King to the Kong No 1 Moist Magic Cream Mist

Mizon King to the Kong No 1. Moist Magic Cream Mist recently popped up at Urban Outfitters and I was all, “Whaaa?” because I love me some King to the Kong. It’s one of my favorite lines from the Mizon Skincare Collection! It’s not only cute but the products are super moisturizing as well so if you have drier skin they are totally a must have.

Let’s take a look!

Mizon King to the Kong Moist Magic Cream Mist

I’ve actually been using Mizon King to the Kong No 1. Moist Magic Cream Mist for a while but never reviewed it on Musings of a Muse. I was happy when I noticed Urban Outfitters was selling it though so I decided, “Hey, people can get this easily why not tell them about it?” Problem? It’s $28 bucks on Urban Outfitters. Ouchie! I believe it retails in Korea for about $17 last I looked so it’s a considerably higher price here in the US. But the none the less Urban Outfitters as some how become the go to for getting your hands on Korean products here in the US from a variety of brands like Mizon to Holika Holika and beyond…! So if you’re stuck for a great place to grab Korean makeup and beauty locally, Urban Outfitters is your BFF! Although I still suggesting reading my guide to great places to buy Korean and Japanese makeup and skincare online as you’ll find better deals from shops I recommend in that post!

Mizon King to the Kong No 1. Moist Magic Cream Mist actually only weights in at 3.3 oz in size which is pretty funny because if you use King’s products you know they are STUPID freaking huge. King to the Kong products just like King come in Big Gulp style jars and bottles. For example, King’s Berry Aqua Step Up Cream comes in a 6.7 oz jar and the Berry Aqua Drink Toner is 16.9 oz! Not sure what happened with the Moist Magic Cream but this is itty bitty compared to King’s regular line up!

Mizon King to the Kong No 1. Moist Magic Cream Mist looks like something you’d use on your body but it is for your face. It’s actually a spray on mist lotion so you can spritz this on your face after washing to prep skin for moisturizer. It’s very light and very refreshing! Simply close your eyes, mist on, and allow it to set. It’ll take a minute or so you can hurry things along by gently pressing your palms to your face so it absorbs quicker. It’s actually not nearly as hydrating as my beloved Sana Hadanomy Collagen Mist which surprised me slightly! This isn’t to say it isn’t moisturizing because it is quite hydrating but for some reason I thought it would be as good as Sana’s Collagen mist. It’s not sticky or tacky and it has a light lotion-like feel on skin after you initially apply it. If you have oily skin or normal skin that doesn’t need a ton of moisturizer this can actually act as a moisturizer for light hydration. Those with drier skin, like myself, will find it adds moisture and also helps moisturizer to absorb easily into skin so it makes for a nice prep. Like all of King’s products it contains Black Choke-Berry which apparently is an excellent source of moisture. Unlike the regular line of King’s products it doesn’t have that herbal lavender fragrance or scent. This has more of a subtle floral fragrance.

I honestly LOVE facial mists. I mean I LOVEEEE facial mists. So I adore this! It’s a great formula to add extra moisture to skin however, if you really want the best of the best facial mist I still highly recommend Sana’s Collagen Mist. But if you’re up for trying something a little new and different Mizon King to the Kong No 1. Moist Magic Cream Mist is totally worth a go!

This one is a great hydrating mist and quite different from anything you may have tried in the facial mist world if you haven’t been privy to many Asian brands in your beauty life.

Likey!

It’s available now at www.urbanoutfitters.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Love the fun packaging, but the price is ouchie for that small size! Hey, have you tried Laura Mercier Perfecting Water Moisture Mist? I love it! It is moisturizing, absorbs well, and is alcohol-free and fragrance-free. It’s $38 but you get 6.8 oz. I’ve been using everyday for 1.5 months and have barely made a dent in the bottle. The only thing I don’t like is the spray is too strong, so I have to spray on my fingers, then pat onto my face , but it wears very well under other face creams and foundation. You can buy at Sephora or Nordstroms.

I tried the Sana Collagen Mist and I agree, it is great added moisture. I love that you do these Asian brands review, it is the reason I stop by and read your blog almost everyday.
