Sephora Pro Contour Blender #77

Embracing the contouring trend for Spring? Get your hands on the Sephora Pro Contour Blender #77 immediately, you can thank me later. This is one incredible brush for contouring connoisseurs and a must have.

Let’s take a look!

The Sephora Pro Contour Blender #77 is a heavy flat bristles brush created with synthetic brushes that’s designed for applying foundation and complexion contour powders and creams.

This is designed with short, dense bristles in a curved design that hugs the contours of the jawline and the curves of your cheekbones making it easy to buff, blend, sculpt, and contour your face. The heavier handle allows you to apply plenty of pressure which ensures you’re blending out creams fully to a Photoshop finish. The contoured angle of the brush allows you to define areas such as your jawline and the bridge of your nose easily for a sculpted look and the shorter bristles mean you have better control over creams without excess bushier bristles getting in the way during application.

Sephora Pro Contour Blender

As with all the Sephora Pro Makeup Brush range this comes with a very cool brush holder. The holder snaps onto the top of the brush and ensures the bristles remain safe during travel or storage. Seriously, every single high end brush you purchase should have a casing like this! Sephora should consider selling them, I’d buy them for all my brushes, they are great!

I’m not a contouring expert by any means but the Sephora Pro Contour Blender #77 is sure to become your best friend of you are. This is a well made, sturdy brush built for professional contouring results that can be used with creams or powders for a flawless complexion.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve been eyeing this for weeks. I was trying to decide between this, the Nars Ita and the new Real Techniques one. I finally caved and bought the RT one with that 20% off code from Ulta. If it’s no good, maybe I’ll return it and get this instead. I just wasn’t sure how this one would work with powders as cream contours dont work on my skin very well.

Oh and thanks for the better side view pics! Your pics are better than Sephora’s.

I’m kinda practicing contouring at the moment, I’m no expert, but I like the weight of this brush and the clipped bristles are really great for buffing out creams. 🙂

Angel, I bought the Nars ITA brush and it is just ok. I may actually return it. I have watched numerous tutorials and it just leaves a very harsh line, even after blending. I have fairly light skin and use the Anastasia Contour Kit color fawn with it. Not sure if it’s worth the big price. THIS however looks interesting.

I really like the shape of this brush! It looks so soft and dense too. I think I need it lol

Need! I suck at contouring, but not at hoarding makeup brushes. Am sure I can find a use for this LOL.

You know, I bought last year’s version of this brush because I thought it was so unique…but I haven’t actually used it yet. One of those purchases I concluded later was a novelty, more than actually being practical. I’ll have to dig it out again after this review!

In the store I had grabbed this brush for the fun of it (not knowing it was new or anything) and I ended up LOVING it. It was my first of the Sephora pro brushes and for someone like me who isn’t the best at countouring its a dream <3. Just have to be careful because if the bronzer is too pigmented…. yea lol
