Bobbi Brown Hot Collection Art Sticks

If you’re a Bobbi Brown Art Stick lover you’ll be happy to know that Hot Pink, Hot Berry, and Hot Orange are three limited edition shades which launched with the new Bobbi Brown Hot Collection for Spring 2015.

I always get excited when some product I really love gets introduced in new shades! Strangely enough though this is my first experience with Bobbi Brown’s Art Sticks which launched last year but this introduction only makes me want more of them!

They are divine!

Bobbi Brown Art Stick

We have so many chunky, chubby lip pencils on the market at the moment one might question what makes Art Sticks so different? Actually, they aren’t really like all those twist up lip pencils we love so much!

These are actually a PENCIL! As in you need to sharpen them! A traditional lip pencil? Ha! Lipstick meets lip liner in this multitasking stick with a super duper creamy texture that glides across lips easily and flawlessly leaving behind opaque color on a single swipe. When I popped the cap and noticed they were a real pencil I had my doubts about the formula. I pictured these being dry and perhaps dense but nope Bobbi perfected the formula with a blend of shea butter that gives the formula a very, very creamy texture. I typically don’t like mattes but these were beautifully. They provide light moisture, beautiful intense pigment, and a flawless matte finish! The wear time is equally incredible as I can get about six hours of wear without color smearing, feathering, or fading!

Bobbi Brown Art Stick Swatches (Hot Berry, Hot Pink, Hot Orange)

If you’re in the market for some playful shades for Spring the three neon colors launching with the Hot Collection are simply divine! All three are loud, bright, yet totally wearable. I typically don’t look good in neon shades but I thought every single shade looked great! They’ll look particularly pretty with tanned skin this Summer. I think maybe we might see neons for Spring so Bobbi gets an early head start with this collection of bright, fun Art Sticks. I was tempted to try them on my cheeks as well but haven’t ventured in yet! I’ll update you if I do.

Just a note Hot Berry and Hot Pink look very similar in my photos but they are quite different! It’s just my lighting. Apologies!

Big Muse Approval for Bobbi Brown Art Sticks! Love this formula. Bright, fun, pigmented with a divine texture that isn’t trying and wears comfortably and long on lips.

You need them!

Available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. ohhh this is confusing me!!! I feel kind of suspicious of the pencil formula as I do think they would be drying but then you say it’s not then the colors are so bright and kind of scares me but they look great on you even the Orange one… So.. Yes will be checking these out in store!!

HA thanks girl! I’ll take that and run with it my ego likey 🙂 I know right? They are bubblegum-licious! Even MAC hasn’t done colors like this. Possible trend for Summer maybe?!

thanks girl 🙂 I hope they do more too! it looks like metallics might be dominating Spring as well as Summer but I’m hoping for some fresher fun shades 🙂

Wowza! These are bold and beautiful! Unfortunately I will be skipping them as i can’t be trusted with products that need to be sharpened. Seriously, i make a wasteful mess every time. Twist up packaging ONLY for this girl!

  • Ayman

You always always look so amazing with these bright shades. What is the secret???

I got all three of these last month and love them. Really versatile and good fun. Usually wear alone but I’ve also been putting a pink BB gloss over the top of the hot pink. The hot pink is my fave I think.

Also been mixing the orange and pink together for a nice coral type shade.

Lip colour never lasts long on me but this last hours.

I now have 7 of these art sticks but all the others except dusty pink have been relegated to my lip box til Autumn as they are a bit serious looking for summer!!
