Dior My Lady Diorblush Glowing Color Blush Palette (007) Review & Swatches
The Dior My Lady Diorblush Glowing Color Blush Palette 007 ($65) is a Nordstrom Exclusive, limited edition blush that launched for Spring 2015 recently at Nordstrom.com.
Last year, two Dior my Lady Blush Palettes launched that I was unable to get because they sold out rather quickly! Unfortunately, this new shade also sold out rather fast so you might wish to call your local Nordstrom and have them check their Dior counters to see if they have in stock and available.
I’m a rather big fan of the old Dior Harmonie de Blush that launched in 2009 and for some reason or another the My Lady Diorblush quite reminds me of it so I was happy to get my paws on this palette.
Let’s take a look!
Dior My Lady Diorblush Glowing Color Blush Palette comes housed in a very weighty mirrored silver compact that’s unfortunately a magnet for fingerprints. Dior, of course, includes a velvet pouch to slip your blush into but I hate during use how it gets all smeared and smudged up with fingerprints and marks. The blush also comes with a small, soft bristled kabuki brush that you can use to buff color gently onto your cheeks. It’s a very nice brush and I appreciate it isn’t a flat head basic brush as the kabuki is nicer for buffing color onto cheeks and also great for building it so you can easily go sheer or build up the shade for more pop.
The actually blush is embossed with a cannage pattern which is basically the look of wicker. The color is made up three shades none of which really dominate as they all seem evenly distributed to my eye. You get bright orange-y coral, a bronze-y orange, and a true orange shade. Theses shades all combine and create a very strong orange-y peach on my cheeks. I think the color will appear different depending on your skin tone. Cooler tones might feel it looks a bit orange-y coral where as warmer might feel it has more of a bronze-y orange look.

The formula is gorgeous! I’ve had a few Dior Blush Palettes that have gone overboard frosty on me but this has a soft, satiny finish that looks matte on my cheeks. I did hope for a little more luminosity and perhaps a little glow from the shade but I’m fine with the softer finish. The color is very easy to sheer out and just as easy to build which I love as I never feel like I’m over doing it as it applies flawlessly no matter how little or how much I apply.
The texture is soft, silky, very, very slightly powdery but applies and blends easily onto my cheeks and wears for a solid 8 hours before showing minor sides of fading.
Yes, it’s quite expensive, but the formula, excellent pigment, wear, and beautiful presentation make it worth the price!
If you already own the other Dior My Lady Diorblush Glowing Color Blush Palettes I’m positive that you’ll want to bring home 007 as well. It’s a gorgeous shade of orange-y coral for Spring and Summer looks!
As I said it’s already sold out online at Nordstrom.com but do call your local stores to see about availability and hopefully at some point it restocks online!
