Etude House Color in Liquid Lips Review & Swatches
Etude House Color in Liquid Lips is a new 20 shade permanent selection of Liquid Lipstick slash lipgloss. These are a hybrid formula that have the texture and pigment of a liquid lipstick but the shine of a lipgloss.
Take a look!
Etude House Color in Liquid Lips are described as a melted liquified lipstick with a high shine. These come housed in a chubby little barrel with an attached doe foot applicator for application. Etude House calls the formula cushiony with a water sliding texture that hydrates lips with a glossy finish. Apparently they contain sweet almond and sunflower seed oil to keep lips smooth and hydrated.
Don’t ask me with water sliding is 🙂 Something got lost in translation there for sure.
I was worried when I ordered these as typically Etude House releases stain-like lip products that are a bit drying but these are a true lightweight liquid lipstick with a gorgeous formula.
These are a thinner consistency than your typical liquid lipstick and qualify in texture as more of a gloss in my experience with them. They look shiny on lips but have the most amazing opaque color coverage that is comparable to a lipstick. Color is true and wears for a solid five hours with a comfortable, weightless feel that goes from being “wet” at first application to more of a satin within the first two hours of wear. They do have some sort of fragrance when I open them but I can’t really detect a flavor of any kind!
