Fortune Cookie Soap Cuticle Butter Review

Fortune Cookie Soap Cuticle Butter

I picked up Futterwacken and Twisted Tea Party Fortune Cookie Soap Cuticle Butter from the Wonderland Spring 2015 Collection. Someone, step up whoever you are because you’re a genius, once recommended I keep a baby nail clipper in my bag and when I have hang nail snip it right off with the clippers. This had been a life saver! I’m a picker! I pick and pick until I’m bleeding all over everything. I know it’s a gross, nasty habit but I can’t help it. Keeping a small clipper in my makeup bag is great because when I see a hang nail I can just clip it off! No picking, no blood!

I’ve also started using cuticle butter again to soften up the rougher skin around my nails beds. Moist skin=less jagged skin that I want to pull out!

Who says you shouldn’t have deliciously scented Cuticle Butter right? Well, maybe not because it makes me want to bite at my nails even more! I’m horrible when it comes to biting and picking, etc…!

Ugh!

Fortune Cookie Soap’s Cuticle Butter comes housed in a tiny .8 oz jar ($8.95) but a little goes a very, very long way so this will likely last you literally ages. They pack this baby up with a ton of great ingredients like shea butter, beeswax, coconut, soya, and avocado oil as well as Mango Butter and Vitamin E. It’s a thicker texture which turns into an oil as you apply it on your hands and cuticles. They actually recommend it for hands or cuticles but I stick to rubbing it into my cuticle beds because the texture can feel a little oily on my hands. I tend to apply it at the end of the night just before heading to bed. It really, really does a find job of softening up my cuticles making it easier to push them back or cut them.

Plus the added benefit of a lovely fragrance makes it equally appealing!

I got it in the new scents Futterwacken and Twisted Tea Party. Futterwacken is my new favorite scent from Fortune Cookie Soap! It smells like orange soda to me but it’s actually a mix of Sun warmed lilies with grapefruit! And Twisted Tea Party is a comforting blend green tea with sweet herbs, vanilla bean, cucumber, golden amber, and hints of neroli and geranium, stirred spearmint. It’s a very herbally blend that’s light and refreshing!

Life is about simple pleasures and I have to admit Fortune Cookie Soap Cuticle Butter is one of those simple pleasures that makes my nails quite happy.

Love this formula!

If you’re a biter or you just take super good care of your nails this is an essential for your nail bag.

FCS’s cuticle butter is absolutely amazing! I’ve tried a ton of different treatments and none of them did for me what this one did, in just one use! I have 3 different scents (Candy Cane Fluff, Squirrel, and Lemon Drop It Like It’s Hot) and really want all of them! The only thing that holds me back is their shipping costs. Yikes. It’s REALLY hard for me to pony up $7 to ship a tiny cuticle butter and a lip balm (which I’m also obsessed with)!

yeah I know 🙁 typically I try to do large orders so I don’t feel that shipping cost too much! wish they had it free or something with a $50 order :-/

Do they sell out of any brick and mortar stores? Like: Sally beauty supply, cosmetology vendors, etc. would really love to try this product (I HATE my cuticles and end up picking at em when they’re dry, nervous habit, too so don’t feel so bad) when my nails are nice and manicured I “pick” em less.
So best thing is to keep up on the upkeep of my nails.

Sucks cause there are so many WONDERFUL beauty products/body jewelry/perfumes online BUT the shipping costs almost as much as the product.

    Thank you for the review!

    P.s.
I am totally stealing that tip about the baby nail clippers in my purse! Genius!
