Little London Cosmetic Tower

Take a little peek at this Little London Cosmetic Tower available at Urban Outfitters.

I actually own two eDiva Beauty Organizer and I swear I treat them like I would my child if I had one! The day I win the lottery is the day that I purchase an e-Diva for my entire makeup collection!

None the less I thought it was interesting that Urban Outfitters are now stocking these Little London Cosmetic acrylic cases!

But…

Little London Cosmetic Tower UO

$275? Ouch! Why oh why are acrylic makeup cases priced so damn high! Jeez….! This one features four drawers with a higher top drawer for storing skincare, fragrance etc…It looks like the drawers pull forward but have a swing out design which is interesting!

It’s over a foot in height so it is a fairly large makeup case but regardless the near $300 price tag makes me cringe. There are tons of indie brands producing much of the same with around the same price tags but I simply can’t swallow the cost. I own two but I simply can’t swallow the cost of more when there are many other cheaper options available for storage like the Helmer from Ikea.

But when I win the lotto I’ll treat you all the a Little London Cosmetic Tower!

It’s available now at www.urbanoutfitters.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I thought it was a mistake and you meant 30.00 but I almost fainted when I actually saw it at 275.00. Why is this so much????? you can buy 2 of the alex 9 drawers for less than that and this is only 12 inches tall. I hope no one actually pays this much for it.

must be due to it now being hip and sold at UO instead of a mass discounter like Target.

This for me is not about the price or anything along those lines, so if the post seems a tad off the current topic I appoligize. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and yes I do receive treatment for it, it is a genetic trait passed on from my father’s side of the family. I am just absolutely terrified looking at that entirely clear unit! 😳 I am a labeler; I mean I keep label makers in business I buy so many refills! I would absolutely loose my god given minds if I saw one eyeliner at a right angle or a lipstick with the name facing out that was not perfectly horizontal and level, yes I have a profitable level in my top bathroom drawer and a mint tape measure. I tend to keep everything in its original box or container.
If the sides where colored and I could select one to match our master bath with the spa zen thing I have going on and the front of the drawers has a frosted decretive pattern and a little handle or something I could label I would be all in! 😀

you sound like me. I’m not OCD but I’m a label girl too! I swear I’d label simple things like the trash can and the oven if I could 🙂 with my makeup it’s even worst as I wanna label and have things set up in a certain way!

I honestly cannot believe the price of this! Absolutely ridiculous for the amout of storage that it gives.

I got acrylic storage drawers from Muji and The Container Store and I would recommend both brands. (Muji drawers aren’t very deep though). I don’t see the need to spend $275 personally.

I’ve been having trouble supporting UO lately, and holy carp, $275? You’re better off purchase 10 Muji drawers!

ok the inner amazon junkie is crying out here. I’ve bought so many acrylic organizers on amazon for a 10th of the cost of this one and the same size! $30-50 is the average plus free with prime shipping!

You can find dupes on ebay. I got a huge personalized acrylic tower 22 years ago (as a bat mitzvah present.) I always used it for jewelry. A year ago, I decided to use it in my bathroom for my makeup! I love it. I’ve been browsing on ebay because I want another one. There are tons of options on eBay.
