Pixi LipLift Max

Pixi LipLift Max Glossy Lip Plumper Lipgloss ($14) is a new permanent Spring 2015 release from our friends at Pixi that promises to give you plump, pouty lips in a quick swipe.

I’m slightly obsessed with lip plumping lipglosses but more importantly I’m obsessed with clear glosses that are super shiny and that’s exactly the finish of Pixi LipLift Max Lipgloss! It’s shiny, glossy, plus it makes my lips look plump and plush.

DO like!

Pixi LipLift Max lipgloss

Pixi LipLift Max is probably my most favorite gloss of the moment. I can see myself purchasing this again and again and again!

This is a pale translucent shade of pink and comes housed in a square tube with a sponge applicator for application. It has a minty taste and flavor that kinda reminds me of a stick of gum. It’s not a flavor or fragrance that’s irritating to lips the way some lip plumping formulas are. This formula doesn’t sting, doesn’t tingle, doesn’t tighten! It’s very comfortable and plush on lips.

The formula isn’t sticky, it’s not tacky, it is thick but lightweight and wearable. It applies clear on lips without any color or tint. It feels plush on lips and give my lips a plush, pouty appearance thanks to the thickness of the formula. It’s has a high glossy finish and looks.

I can’t say a single bad thing about this formula. I love it! It wears comfortable, looks amazing on my lips, and is perfect for quickie touch ups when I can’t be bothered to reapply a bunch of lipstick and gloss. The high shine finish makes my lips look fuller and plush! Plus it’s comfortable to wear. It’s not one of those plumping formulas that irritates lips to make them look fuller!

Do you think this compares at all to Diors Lip Maximizer?? Your description is almost identical to how I feel the Dior one is, and the color of the gloss is similar. It would be wonderful if this was a dupe…Thanks.

I have a huge fan of Lip Maximizer! But this is actually nicer 🙂 it’s glossier, less thick!

Wait, does this gloss have a colored core with clear gloss surrounding it, or is that tiny smidge of pinky gloss all that’s in the container?

    • Isabella Muse

I got some air bubbles when I took the pic, sorry. No there isn’t a colored core, it’s a clear translucent pink.

I have a questions for comparison as well. Pop Beauty used to make a product called Lip Cushion, it was Fabulous! Plumped without burning, refreshed matte lipsticks like no other, and on it’s own was a slightly pearly (but not) sheer milky light pinkish gloss. It made my lips look like they did when I was in my 20’s. (oh those days…but I digress.)
SO, have you ever used the one by Pop (now discontinued I think) and could this one by Pixi be a dupe?
    THanks for the review!

I never tried Lip Cushion to be honest!!!!!!! I wish I could say how they compared! My pleasure dear!

Ooh, I haven’t even heard of this. I am always on the lookout for a good plumping gloss! This is super pretty!!
