Cake Beauty Be Delectable Hair & Body Mist Set2

I recently picked up this Cake Beauty Be Delectable Hair & Body Mist Set ($14) at Kohls.com on a whim because, hey, who even knew Cake was sold at Kohl’s!?

I’ve never made any secret that I love multitasking products (and ones that smell like cake and desserts and yummy foods) so this formula that doubles up as both a Hair & Body Mist totally made my day!

The Cake Beauty Be Delectable Hair & Body Mist Set includes 4 2 oz bottles of Hair & Body Mist in Strawberry & Cream, Vanilla & Cream, Coconut & Cream, and Lemon & Cream. Sounds yummy right? I happen to love foody fragrances so this is a great set for me.

I actually have the Cake Beauty Be Delectable Hand Cream Set Review as well which I recently reviewed for you and it comes with the same fragrances as this set but oddly enough I like it a lot more. Something gets a little lost in transalation in the hair and body mist formula and the scents aren’t nearly as nice! I really didn’t love the Vanilla & Cream nor the Coconut & Cream in this set. One had a car air freshener type smell and the other was a bit of a toasty vanilla scent that wasn’t particularly pleasant. Both Strawberry & Cream and Lemon & Cream were nice enough but not great.

The formulas are also really week! I can likely mist myself with the entire 2 oz bottle and I still get very little throw or linger from these. They also have a bit of a stickiness which I’m not keen on as my clothes stick to my body after I mist the fragrance on!

In my hair, thankfully I didn’t experience stickiness or stiffness but again, very little fragrance.

Oh well!

They sound nice in theory but I’d say you can safely skip the Cake Beauty Be Delectable Hair & Body Mist Set!

Cake Beauty is now available at Kohl’s and kohls.com

I hope you take these back to kohls! They’ve always been good about returns – I took back a nail polish top coat I absolutely hated once and they refunded me no questions asked, even though I had used it a few times.

I liked the way these smelled in store (we have them a Rexall). They are inexpensive and I may get them to use as hair products. Too bad about the weak staying power/throw.
