The formula really takes liquid lipstick to a new and very exciting level!

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick7

Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick are a hybrid formula with the liquid-like texture of thick, creamy gloss with the intense pigment of a lipstick! I can’t say I’ve run into a single shade that isn’t fully opaque on a single application with a silly long wear of five to six hours without fading, migrating, feathering, or cracking.

Don’t quote but I believe the original collection only included 8 shades so it is indeed nice they have added to the collection with new and exciting colors to try!

    tee hee…Pokemon disease …

Love that strawberry on you! Velvet is nice too. 😊

I have never tried these before but I’m filing it in my I wants tab in OneNote.

Muse, I am cursed. I’ve always wanted a beautiful mauve (like “dusty rose”) lip colour – but when I buy one, it always looks way pinker when I put it on. I’ve tried compensating for this by choosing ones with more brown in them, to combat the pinkness, but that doesn’t seem to work either.

I picked up Melted in “Chihuahua” because I have the Peony one, which shows up on my lips really true to colour. Unfortunately, Chihuahua looks quite brown on my lips. I don’t know what to do to get the colour I want, waaaaah! 🙁

Nat, I totally understand! A majority of the shades are very white based. They end up pastel. I WISH they’d do more wearable shades because not everyone can wear neon baby pink. I do like the reds they do but many of the other shades are too too light which for me translates to chalky. I wanted Chihuahua but was scared it would be zombie lips on me. 🙁

Nat, have you tried the L’Oreal glossy balm in Vintage Rose? That’s a dusty rose. It leans sheer, but it’s very pretty.

I haven’t, but I’ll check it out next time I hit up the drugstore – thanks for the suggestion! 😀

Chihuahua looked the perfect slightly rosey nude on my hand so of course I bought it… on my lips though it pulls more orangey than rosey thanks to my weird facial undertones. (90% of nude shades either wash me out or look orange on me) I was so sad. I find that I can mix other melted shades into it though for a nice effect. I liked it mixed with Fig so far. I want to try it with a hint of Strawberry next… maybe that will add the rosey tone I wanted. Anyway you might try putting a hint of Peony over your Chihuahua with a lip brush and see if that does it for you.

Melted Sugar… This may be my first one, LOL! I’ve been curious about these, but no shades have caught my eye…

Melted Velvet is definitely on my buy list at the next Sephora sale

  • Maggie

Oh my, I love that melted velvet – they of course both look great on you! Probably going to have to pick up a couple more (oh lawd). Thanks for lemming the metallic ones too else I’d probably have ordered them as well (the frosty finish wasn’t what I was expecting)…darn you Pokemon disease! Great review as always 🙂

I love the Melted Lippies. I love Melted Strawberry, I just bought Melted Melon. Obsessed! I also have a couple of the original ones. I really want Jelly Donut.

It looks like there’s another new shade on the sephora website! 😁

    • Isabella Muse

there is indeed, sephora has an exclusive forgot about that!

Ugh, these always look so nice but I just can’t bring myself to get one b/c the applicator seems so unsanitary! I have too much makeup and don’t finish stuff quickly so it would just sit in my collection in between uses for months at a time and I just can’t deal w/ all that crusty product when I went to bust it out again. I had the same issue with those Maybelline glosses that came out years ago; I went back to use some one time and the applicator was so disgusting!

How does melted velvet compare to melted ruby (if you have it)?
