Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection debuts for Spring with a melody of Summer-y notes that takes you away to a day in the sun on a warm tropical beach! Considering Elie Saab’s fragrances very rich and warm I find the La Parfum Resort Collection a refreshing change.

Take a look!

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection

In 2011, Elie Saab launched the Resort Collection as simply “Le Parfum”. For 2015, that changes to Le Parfum Resort Collection! This limited edition fragrance comes housed in a gorgeous cut crystal bottle with an azure tint. The bottle is elegant and captures the essence of the ocean.

The La Perfum Resort Collection was developed by Francis Kurkdijan and is a fresh, fruity floral that almost has a bit of a masculine edge. It contains noses of fig, orange blossom, jasmine, and frangipani.

I read a review that said this had Elie Saab’s DNA and it’s true, there’s some element of Elie Saab’s fragrances in the Resort Collection. It’s that crossover of being very feminine yet also with some unisex note that makes it feel like a warm hug from that special man in your life.

Without a doubt there’s a tropical element here but don’t think pineapples and coconut but more a warm, humid day on a tropical island! At first mist the fig dominates the fragrance but as it dries down you’ll find that orange blossom comes out to play with a mix of sultry jasmine. There’s cedar in this fragrance as well and for me that’s what gives it a slightly warmer, masculine edge.

It’s a funny thing as although most would classify this as a fruity scent, it’s so much more complex and the warmth of the notes combine to create a truly sexy fragrance. This has excellent throw at first mist which lasts for about four hours on my skin but into hour five I see a little bit of fading on this one. It’s a lot lighter when compared to other richer fragrances that Elie Saab is known for.

If you’re looking for fragrance that evokes the warm sexiness of a glamorous Summer vacation Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection is the perfect blend. This one is being taken on Spring break and Summer vacation with me.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection is available now on counters or grab it online at Nordstrom.com or learn more at www.eliesaab.com.

I like the sound of this, with the jasmine and cedar plus frangipani and orange blossom. I hate 99 percent of perfumes out there (never warmed to the fruity and candy fragrance trend) but this sounds interesting. I’ll have to, ahem, sniff this one out.

This is very warming! It’s fruity yes but also fresh floral notes…it just feels like a humid day at the beach kinda scent but not that typical sun tanned coconut pineapple jazz! It’s much more complex and sultry 😀 do smell! You might love 😀

OMG smelled this at Neiman Marcus, wanted it, but don’t need another perfume to add to my 30 plus collection. The only thing stopping me was the price. I also love the new Balenciaga L’edition Mer which I think I might splurge and buy on ebay this Friday I get paid. I love perfume!!!! Wearing the original Chloe today.
