Essence Plump No Clump Mascara

Things you need ASAP, Essence Plump No Clump Mascara ($4.99)! Best mascara evers people! I typically dislike mascaras with huge club-like applicators (I’m talking to YOU Lashblast) because I’m clumsy and I’ll likely shoot poke my eye out when using it. Plus honestly, do we really need a huge applicator? It seems unnecessary and it tends to lead to messy applications!

But Essence Plump No Clump changes everything….EVERYTHING!

Essence Plump No Clump Mascara is a volumizing and lengthening mascara that has a larger plastic bristles brush with precise points that separate and pull lashes up and out. The applicator is fairly big and at first I did have a moment where I was all, “Mmm not one of these again!” but after using this I’m believer./a>

First off you do want to curl for the best performance. I find without curling that the application tends to be messy! So take a moment to curl your lashes so they are tilted up and outwards which in turns means easier application of Plump No Clump. Now you can proceed to layer up! Stroke this threw once or twice and you’ll get fairly dramatic results. Lots of length (which surprised me as typically mascaras are one trick ponies) and very nice volume and fullness. My lashes looked lush and very, very long!

Although not waterproof this wore well without making my lashes stiff or crunchy and it removed easily at the end of the night. I do have drier eyes and the wear was great without flaking or smearing!

Now it does hold curl well but doesn’t quite curl lashes itself. It does need a helping hand as I mentioned above. I find the formula clumpy if I apply it without first curling my lashes! So yes, it holds curl well but doesn’t quite work to curl lashes up and out.

As you can see from both my close up and full photo below my lashes look fuller, longer, and dare I say dramatic?

Love this!

You need it!

Wow! I need to pick up a few of these! $20 for a years worth of mascara vs. $20+ for one…? Yeah, I think I’ll go with this, LOL! Unfortunately, my local Walgreen’s DC’d Essence, so I’ll have to wait until I get to ULTA, but if I wait for a coupon, they’llnbe even cheaper!

Is there anywhere that’s NOT Ulta to get essence cosmetics? I had a customer service issues with them a few years so and won’t shop there, but there aren’t Fred Meyer or any other such store in my area.

For anyone living in Canada… The Essence Products can be bought at Shoppers Drugmart.

& some Fred Meyers in the US

I have those straight asian lashes that are resistant to curling. If I curl my lashes before putting this on, will it hold the curls? It is a bad choice for those with lashes like me?

Hello! Finally bought this yesterday, costs BND4.90. Curled my lashes with an eyelash curler first and used this and yess, it is a good one, with one coat it gave my lashes some length and volume (not too thick and not hard like the manga one) applied 2-3 more coats and my lashes still feel soft! Love ’em! Yaaaay! Thank you for reviewing this one earlier or I would just overlook them hahah 🙂
