Etude House Dreaming Swan Veiling Pack Brush Review

Etude House Dreaming Swan Veiling Pack Brush1

Etude House Dreaming Swan Veiling Pack Brush ($10) is a new limited edition makeup brush that launched with the Etude House Dreaming Swan Collection for Spring/Summer 2015. This collection was inspired by the beauty and grace of ballet and that’s reflected in many of the gorgeous pieces in the release including this cute brush.

The Etude House Dreaming Swan Veiling Pack Brush was created to used with the Dreaming Swan Veiling Pack Powder which is a lightweight setting powder. Etude House has a range of makeup brushes I’ve never really indulged in personally so this is one of the first brushes I’ve used from the brand.

The packaging is very cute and princess-y to say the least. The brush is a pale peachy shade with rose gold accents and comes with a lacy brush cover that resembles a tutu. The bristles are very, very soft with absolutely no shedding issues. It is very much a powder brush as the bristles are not only soft but floppy which allows you to easily apply a sheer layer of powder to face without over doing things. I don’t use face powder all that much because my face dry but when I do use it I like brushes like this as you can easily apply powder and not have it adhere to drier areas since it applies such a sheer layer of powder.

I haven’t washed the brush yet so I’m unsure how it holds up after being washed but this far the soft bristles combined with the lack of shedding makes me think it should wash up very well!

I like displaying my prettier makeup items on my vanity and this brush is perfect for displaying along with your favorite powders. It’s very pretty yet completely practical and usable as well.

For $10 bucks you can’t beat it!

Unfortunate, it has sold out on Etude House’s website but I’m seeing it from E-bay sellers for around $13 which isn’t too bad a price. If you can find it I’d recommend a pick up! It’s a nice brush for powder application and it doesn’t hurt how beautiful it is!

I purchased this item.

Hey muse. How about this NY weather? Feels like spring is never going to come : (. How do you think this would perform with powder blush?

ugh tell me about it. Absurd right? I feel like Summer is far away…I mean it’s ok, not TOO bad this week but not great either 🙁 We should have at least 70’s! And even with the sun shining it feels chilly to me! Not good, this is strictly for powder imho! The floppier bristles will likely not give you go control with blush application! 🙁

I can live with 70’s. I’m not a summer type Gal. I like spring and fall, but the problem is that it still feels like winter. Thank’s muse. I am skipping on this brush, although I did order one blush. I controlled my blush hording self LOL

Me either, I like the Fall, five me the Fall 24/7 365 and I’d be happy. But I has been a rather long winter so a little Spring is welcome 😀 Which color did you get? I didn’t try them yet but they seem sheer :-/
