new summer 2015 urban decay eyeshadows

Fireball, Sideline, Dive Bar, Lounge, Riff, Beware, Tonic, and Backfire are eight new shades of Urban Decay Eyeshadow launching with the Urban Decay Summer 2015 Collection this week! Yup, if you’re a fan of Urban Decay Eyeshadow you have your chance to get your hands on eight new permanent shades of ’em for your Summer looks!

Take a peek!

new urban decay eyeshadow shades

I’m pretty sure I have almost ALL of the original Urban Decay Eyeshadow range. I can’t think of a single shade I’m missing! Does that make me any more spesh than I already I am? One can hope so!

A few years ago Urban Decay relaunched their entire eyeshadow collection with new shades, a new formulation, and new packaging! Housed in a slick token style (reminiscent of the NYC Subway tokens) gunmetal packaging this bad boys pop out easily and can be used in Urban Decay’s Build Your Own Palette so you can customize your own palette!

New Shades of Urban Decay Eyeshadow for Summer 2015

The new shades are a delightful little surprise as six out of the eight shades are duochromes which have a color shifting finish. I know people who live and die by duochrome finishes so this could potentially be an exciting release for you!

New Shades of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Summer 2015:

  • Backfire (burgundy with purple shift)
  • Tonic (lilac with blue shift)
  • Beware (warm brown matte)
  • Riff (brown nude matte with floating with micro sparkle)
  • Dive Bar (medium blue with pink purple shift)
  • Sideline (gold with green shift)
  • Fireball (peach with pink shift)
  • Lounge (brick red with green shift)

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow. I NEED Tonic, Sidelines, and Fireball. NEED. But my wallet isn’t going to allow for it… guess it’s time for me to peruse Makeup Geek for dupes. Thanks for the brilliant swatches! I wonder if GIF swatches for duochrome would be neat, haha.

I don’t know about NEED, but Fireball is calling my name…”Swatch meeeee!”. So I guess I’ll have to have a little heart to heart with it when I get to the store next:) I’m still so excited about the giveaway! I’ve had problems with my email in the past – have you gotten my messages, Muse? My makeup-obsessed self just wants to make sure:D Can’t wait! Thanks!

Yum! I’m gonna need a few of these, heehee! 😀

  • Unpalleteable

The colour shifts going on here are awesome, can’t wait for your review!

  • Ali

I NEED Fireball and Lounge… although I’ve put myself on a “no spending” til June!

  • Cindy

I love the colour of lounge. It would be amazing if you could make a look with it. We have the same complexion and eyecolour but UD is not as easy to get over here. And it would be so fun if they could make an eyeshadow named Raff too. Would bu that and Riff in a second.

  • Kiss & Make-up

I want the two mattes! And maybe Lounge too, it looks so cool. I definitely don’t have anything like it yet.

  • kimmyyy

Lounge, Sideline and Tonic are calling my name! Would you say Lounge and MAC Club are about the same, or are there some color differences?

  • CupK8

I think I might pick up Riff. It looks like it could be a good transition shade for me! The others I have similar colors for already so I don’t really feel justified.. but I will watch for your review! ^_^

Lounge was around before they reformulated their eyeshadows. I love it.

  • Alexis

I would love to see comparison swatches of original Lounge and new Lounge. I have bought all of these except for the 2 matte shadows and Lounge.
