Purple Blush!?

Urban Decay Bittersweet Afterglow Blush is probably one of the most unique shades of blush I’ve run across!

Goes very well with Urban Decay Bittersweet Revolution High Color Lipgloss yes?

It reminds me of MUFE #9 Lavender shadow/blush. Since they released the artist shadows and discontinued the old formula you can’t get it anymore and it makes me incredibly sad. It’s super pigmented, especially for such a lighter color, and somehow managed to look natural. RIP #9 🙁

I obsess over lavender blushes. Any brand, any time, though I prefer Asian versions as they usually lean less pink. My favorite is a skin food version.
I saw this when they were first released and audibley gasped. I had to order it! Can’t wait for it to arrive!

On my light-but-olive skin (green!), in order for a blush to look very mauve or plum once applied to my skin the shade HAS to be purply! Otherwise it goes on warmer and becomes simply rose-toned. It’s the oddest thing how shades transfer onto different skin tones!

Me, too! I have a lot of purple in my skin tone and purples actually look really natural on me. Granted, I have to use a light hand, but I love purples and have actually used eyeshadows as blushes in the past! I am definitely going to check this out.

does anyone have tips on how to make purple work on warm asian skin tones?

I’ve been in a purple makeup mood this month. It looks like a trip to sephora is in my near future to test the new Urban Decay blush and gloss out.
